Reaching the fog/My adventure in the universe of Dark Souls 1

Hello my dear players,
Today I bring you the continuation of my journey through the amazing universe of the Souls series. This time, I bring you the images I collected on my journey from Lordran to ringing the first bell. I hope you enjoy this journey and these images, which almost cost me my life more than once (within the game, of course). Since the game doesn’t have a pause menu, stopping to take a screenshot was an open invitation for enemies to attack. But as Thanos says, I am inevitable. Hahaha.

Our adventure continues after having killed the knight at the Lordran bonfire, which gave me enough souls to level up my attributes a couple of times. Then, I journeyed through the cemetery next to the second parish. I found some items and weapons that seem good but I can't use them yet. The place was plagued with immortal and oppressive skeletons, but they couldn't match my speed when it came to running away from the fight. LOL.

Imagine wandering through the perilous rooms of the castle and stepping outside only to encounter this gigantic creature that nearly crushes you like an ant. Phew!

After progressing a bit, I reached the next area and found the first bonfire there. I rested, replenished my Estus flasks, and continued advancing, dealing with some unwanted undead along the way. Eventually, I reached the first Black Knight we encounter in the game. Seeing him on the game's cover, I thought he would be one of the final enemies, but there he was, guarding a corpse that held the Blue Tearstone Ring. After a tough fight, using a strategy of hit, run, and counterattack, I managed to defeat him and obtain a Titanite Shard, which I still don't know what it's for, and the Black Knight Shield. This shield was a perfect upgrade from the plank I had, thanks to its high resistance to physical attacks and fire. No more firebombs bothering me.

Here you can already see me using the new shield, and thank goodness I carefully checked the room upon entering, as there was a hollow soldier waiting to ambush me.

Standing toe-to-toe with Havel the Rock

After another short journey, I found a door that I was able to open with the Master Key, an item I chose as a gift at the start of the game, and which proved to be very useful in accessing this area. To my surprise, it was an enemy with a super armor and a giant hammer that would give me one of the best battles so far and super resistant and invincible. I almost died trying to take this screenshot since the game does not stop while I take these images and (which the process on the PS3 is a bit slow to take the screenshots) thank goodness that a second before the impact I was able to regain control and avoid such an attack that would have been able to finish off a giant with one blow. To my surprise, when I finished him off, he gave me Havel's Ring. Upon investigating the enemy, I found out it was Havel the Rock, one of the most iconic characters in the saga.

Now we've reached the fog, surely a great confrontation awaits us after crossing that door, but we'll leave that for the next part.
