Ustedes saben que en mi proceso y en mi tiempo que tengo en la universidad, he asistido a muchos cursos. La gran mayoría de ellos han sido orientados a otras especialidades, debido a que son las que tienen mucho más tiempo, especialmente la publicidad y mercadeo, que es una especialidad que se mueve bastante en el área de los cursos y es por ello que son los que más he tenido oportunidad de asistir. Pero hace poco mi profesor de diseño gráfico, decidió que era una genial idea hacer un curso de diseño, específicamente un taller sobre creación de marcas, y quería contarles un poquito de mi experiencia.

You know that in my process and in my time at the university, I have attended many courses. The vast majority of them have been oriented to other specialties, because they are the ones that have much more time, especially advertising and marketing, which is a specialty that moves quite a lot in the area of courses and that is why they are the ones that I have had the opportunity to attend the most. But recently my graphic design professor decided that it was a great idea to do a design course, specifically a workshop on branding, and I wanted to tell you a little bit about my experience.

A diferencia de otros talleres, en este no tome demasiadas fotos, ya que no había mucho material audiovisual, la verdad es que las diapositivas estaban bastante sencillas, a veces tenían que decir una palabra o tres palabras, una simple imagen y eso era todo así que la verdad es que no les puede tomar demasiadas fotos. Este taller estuvo facilitado por un diseñador gráfico con muchísimos años de experiencia que habló sobre su vida principalmente y luego paso hablar sobre la construcción de marcas, de cómo no es simplemente realizar un diseño de logo y ya, sino que es muchísimo más y que abarca una identidad gráfica que se debe construir como muchísimo cuidado. Además nos dio como trucos, pasos, y herramientas para poder crear marcas de una manera un poco más eficiente y que a la larga perduren en el tiempo.

Unlike other workshops, in this one I did not take too many pictures, since there was not much audiovisual material, the truth is that the slides were quite simple, sometimes they had to say a word or three words, a simple image and that was all, so the truth is that I could not take too many pictures. This workshop was facilitated by a graphic designer with many years of experience who spoke mainly about his life and then went on to talk about brand building, how it is not just a simple logo design and that's it, but it is much more and that includes a graphic identity that must be built with great care. He also gave us tricks, steps, and tools to be able to create brands in a more efficient way and that in the long run will last in time.

La verdad es que en este taller yo no aprendí demasiado, si es verdad que yo tengo una experiencia en diseño un poco más avanzada que la de mis compañeros y yo realmente esperaba aprender muchísimo de este taller particularmente no fue así y no le voy a decir que fue malo, porque no lo fue, siento que simplemente en mi caso esperaba un poco más. Pero en términos generales fue un buen taller, espero que les haya encantado conocer esta mini experiencia, nos leemos pronto!

The truth is that in this workshop I did not learn too much, it is true that I have a little more advanced experience in design than my colleagues and I really expected to learn a lot from this workshop particularly was not so and I will not say it was bad, because it was not, I just feel that in my case I expected a little more.
