Eating frogs

The school year that passed was a bit heavy for me. With so many setbacks and difficulties that occurred; even more than those that happened during the world pandemic, as I had commented in some previous publications; however, I was able to emerge victorious from all of them.

But one of the great things about my work is being able to start from scratch each school year without the option of repeating the same group of students. That is why it allows us to rebuild ourselves, to renew ourselves as professionals, so I feel that we get better and better at it.

But nothing more accurate than the initial famous phrase; in my opinion, it is not my favorite because of the animals that I dread is this amphibian; specifically, frogs because it has the ability to jump and stick to your skin, if that happens to me I would faint until it has taken off.

Mark Twain was absolutely right because in the work aspect, we must give our all because it is the reflection of our personality; it gives us satisfaction and much of it depends on our self-esteem, the vision that others have about us. Having said this, I must clarify that we will not always be at our best, there will be some moments in which we will be at our lowest because there are circumstances and problems that do not depend on us because we cannot control everything.

But everything that does depend on us we must work diligently. If we want to succeed, the ideal is to avoid procrastination, which is an enemy that I have had to face many times and that I have eradicated with specific tips such as prioritizing, keeping the workplace in order and focusing on one thing at a time even though I can go ahead with certain tasks to avoid or at least reduce stress.
