A Sunny Day, Hidden Mushrooms, and a Bear Warning in Elfin Cove

We are still in Elfin cove as there is a storm coming. It was a sunny and beautiful day so we decided to go and make use of this amazing day

Pretty easy to see us, as we are the only sail boat in Elfin cove.

We were told that they were hundreds of mushrooms but to get them you needed to get to the end of the town and go on a little hike into the woods.

We heard from the locals that the woods are home to hundreds of mushrooms. Intrigued, we set off to the edge of town for a little hike into the forest. However, the locals were clear with a warning: we couldn't venture too deep into the woods. Apparently, they had recently shot a bear, and there were suspicions that it might still be aggressive.

We make it to the end and go into the stunning woods

We found some, but they were not as good.

Take a look at these roots that are completely exposed.

Interesting skull from a bear. We were informed that it was a mother and there really was not any info about this skull.

Finally, after some time, we managed to find what we came for.

But in the end, it was a bit disappointing. We had been told there were hundreds of mushrooms, but we only managed to find a handful. Perhaps the forest is more mysterious than we thought.
