oregano

greetings hivers of the natural path. today i would share to you all an amazing "discovery" about an herb. i only have seen it yesterday because im not supposed to be on that area. it was planted, and been taken care of by some dude who happens to be fond of planting even though surrounded by paved concrete. well, here is it. to tell you the truth, this is the first time i have ever seen an oregano plant this big, i mean, wow. amazing.

after seeing this wonderful plant, i have remembered when i was younger, when my mother was preparing some concoction using this oregano. she said it was for my brother who is suffering from mild cough. i though this could be of help in people searching for some remedy for their cough, instead of taking some cough syrup. it is effective, by the way.

first, you have to clean ten pieces of fresh oregano leaves, steam it. my mother used to put it on top of cooked rice. works great. steam it, okey? not boiled. next is to press it to extract the green juice, add a little honey or lemon juice to even the taste. (its kinda unpleasant when you take it on its own) take a table spoon twice a day, works great for dry cough. hope it helps, thanks.
