Greek Oregano Harvesting (Update #2)

🌿 And the oregano harvesting continues 🌿

It's been exactly a week since me and my father @aimilios started harvesting this years oregano crops and the results are way better than we initially expected! Just today we managed to harvest more than 15 kilos and it was a KILLER session!!!

Doing this kind of work is so much fun as I get to spend some quality time with my father and discuss about lots of things like politics, sports and even crypto! It's not all flowers and butterflies though!

This week's schedule was waking up at 6:00, working at the fields until 11:00, then doing my crypto business, lunch, sleep, skateboarding and a good night rest! Thought I could handle the afternoon skateboarding but my knees and back hurt like hell hehehe!

My father is a tough nut though! He is 63 and handling business like a champ! Hell, he even goes to his afternoon work shift no problem after our morning oregano session!

We still have a ton of work to do but we're getting there slowly! We cleaned more than 20 rows and there are 25 more left! If we pick up our pace a bit we're gonna clean everything exactly a week from now but there's a heatwave hitting Greece these days and it's so hard to work after 10:00.

What we do is work from 7:00 to 10:00, then relax for half an hour under a tree enjoying our coffee or what's left from it and then load the oregano in the car and move it to the "hideout" so it can dry!

Today we also brought some company with us from the field, this HUGE brown spider! It popped up as soon as we opened the canvas carrying the oregano!

We're gonna enjoy a sweet weekend off the field and we'll get back to work on Monday morning! Gonna do a few more updates in the future so stay tuned and of course ask me anything you wanna learn about Greek Oregano bellow!
