Brim - Triple Brew 12-Cup Coffee Maker - Stainless Steel/Black
By: KPRC 2 Click2Houston
This video talks about the popular K-cup coffee makers and rates them based on their performance indices on a Consumer Reports survey. Surprisingly, the Keurig maker, despite its popularity, does not make it to the top of their list. The top pick is the Brim Triple Brew 12 Cup Coffee Maker (model number 50001) that retails for about $150. It offers the flexibility of brewing a pot of drip coffee, while simultaneously using K-cups, adding to its appeal.
In second place is the more budget-friendly Chefman InstaCoffee Single Serve Coffee Maker that accepts both loose grounds and K-cups, and costs just around $40. Following this is the Crux 14813 Triple Infusion Brew, similar to the Brim in functionality, and then the Cuisinart Premium Single Serve Brewer SS-10P1 at about $139. The fifth and last on the list was the Keurig K Duo Plus, which, like both the Brim and Crux models, allows the brewing of drip coffee and the use of K-cups. Overall, while Keurig is popular, it appears the competition offers more versatility and better value for money.
