Bish-bash-bosh | The pattern of my Sublime Sunday.

It's Sunday. A sublime Sunday which also happens to be the first day of a new month. Happy Sunday and Happy new month to y'all.

Wow! What a day it has been.

I spent so much time indoors for most of this week, but today was different. I got to rebel against the things that usually keep me indoors, mostly my phone and laptop. For the record, these things have been a big part of my life. It is part of my learning, earning, planning, growth, development and more. So, when I say that I spend so much time with my gadgets, it's ALWAYS justifiable.

But, today is one of those days that always makes me wanna pay attention to what goes on in real life. After starting with my usual spiritual activities in the early hours of the day, I did a thing or two online before deciding to close all the tabs on my gadget.

And that was the beginning of my general house sanitation.

I have to acknowledge how phenomenal it feels to do this on Sundays instead of Saturdays. Ever since I started living alone, I've done more house cleaning on Sundays than any other day. It's just the way I like it. Whenever I'm cleaning up the house on Sundays, it makes me more enthusiastic as I anticipate the beginning of a new week. Yeah, my new week starts on Monday - not open for debate. Hehe.

By the time I was done with my house cleaning, I washed up and went to visit my barber.

The lad was enjoying a mixtape of Afrobeats when I came around. He is the type of guy that is serious with his business and he prioritises customer satisfaction whenever he is using his clipper. I got a nice haircut (more trimming than the real stuff). The whole hair stuff went on for 35 minutes, give or take a few. I paid a dollar for the service before going to my next destination.

This time around, I went shopping at one of the malls around the area.

I needed an air freshener because the one I have may not last the whole week, but I didn't see the exact one I usually use. It was the same for liquid dishwashers and soap.

The exact ones I use were not available and I didn't plan to go shopping during this midweek we are getting into so, I decided to improvise and settle for a different brand.

I didn't bother myself about these insecticides because the one I bought before travelling for the Easter celebration is still intact.

As for these, I still have some of these beverages at home. I hardly take them if I don't have bread at home and I don't buy bread from stores along the street so, I decided to get a loaf of bread today. All those 'out of the oven' breads are the ones I enjoy. Their taste and softness are unbeatable.

By the time I was done shopping, I paid at the cashier and got this;

From the above, you can see how I spent almost $9 at the mall. Lol. Adding the price I spent at the salon plus my fare will sum everything up to $11. And that is how the day has been.

Since it's already getting late as I'm writing this, I will have to prepare two sachets of ramen. I plan to make it spicy so that I will savour the taste while I spend the last minutes of this day with my Kdrama.

That was how I spent this Sublime Sunday.
