Vivir Consciente, respetando el Ambiente Spa/Eng
Saludos cordiales a todos los miembros de la comunidad.
El Día Mundial del Ambiente debe ser para la reflexión y la acción, especialmente para quienes somos madres y padres.
Pienso que el legado más importante que podemos entregarle a nuestros hijos e hijas es la libertad de conciencia y eso lo lograremos en la medida que los formemos en todos los aspectos de la vida, desde lo cotidiano hasta la complejidad científica del todo.
En este sentido, formar a los niños y niñas con conciencia ecológica y respetuosos del ambiente no es una opción, sino una obligación que inicia desde muy temprana edad, para que ellos asuman una cultura respetuosa con todos y todo lo que les rodea.
Hoy, en el Jardín de Infancia de Amanda, realizaron una jornada de embellecimiento y siembra de plantas ornamentales y medicinales, cada niño llevó una planta y todos los presentes limpiamos los espacios donde serían sembradas.
Describir con palabras la emoción de nuestra niña sería minimizar el brillo de sus ojos y la expresión de su sonrisa, no solo a lo largo de la jornada, sino durante todo el día.
Para ella fue muy significativo trasladar su cotidianidad hasta a la escuela, esa es la razón de su alegría.
Puede sonar a cliché, pero en la práctica resulta ser tan simple y sencillo como enseñar con el ejemplo la disposición correcta de los desechos sólidos, usando de forma moderada del agua, uso adecuado de la electricidad, aplicar las 3 R: reducir, reciclar y reutilizar y explicarles las razones por las cuales son importantes estás prácticas, esas por mencionar algunas.
Desde la cotidianidad de un paseo, podemos conversar sobre la majestuosidad de los árboles y su importancia para el medio ambiente, para nuestra vida y demás seres vivos, podemos sorprendernos como si fuera la primera vez que vemos un ave volar, picar o comer una flor, bañarse en un charco de agua, comer una fruta y ni hablar de la felicidad de ver un ave en un nido mirándonos fijamente temerosa de nuestra presencia.
En pocas palabras es ir aprovechando esos momentos de curiosidad, que no son pocos, para profundizar e ir sentando bases sólidas con respuestas lógicas, coherentes y adecuadas para su edad.
Esa es la dinámica que hemos asumido Gaspar y yo, Diego apenas tiene 1 año y 10 meses y en esos: Mamá o papá ¿qué, qué?, preguntando ¿Qué es eso? damos respuestas claras con ejemplos y las respondemos las veces que sean necesarias. (muchas veces jejeje)
Por su parte, Amanda tiene 3 años y 10 meses, sus respuestas siempre nos sorprende y su capacidad de razonamiento es increíble.
Hace unas semanas quiso saber más sobre los "bichos"
- No, Amanda, esos no se llaman bichos, son Hormigas...
- Mamá mira, ese bicho está cargado una hoja...
- Ok, es un bicho, jejejeje
El caso es que por su cuenta estudió las hormigas que viven en el patio, varias veces al día, disponía de varios minutos para observarlas, les llevaba diferentes tipos de comida para saber sus preferencias y descubrió que les gustan las hojas más gruesas de kalanchoe, el arroz, los restos de pan, que trepan plantas, son muy fuertes, viven muchísimas en un hormiguero, caminan muy rápido, caen de lo alto y no se lastiman y sobre todo que son vulnerables al agua.
Esa es la información que ella logró descifrar, yo solo acompañé su investigación cuidando que su análisis fuera correcto, no eran clases, ni regaños para que no las pisara, fue el juego que ella inventó para satisfacer su necesidad de conocimiento, ahora no solo mira con respeto a las hormigas, sino que has reconoce como parte importante de la naturaleza.
Ese es solo un ejemplo, tanto como a Diego como Amanda los llevamos de la mano, un paso a la vez, pero son pasos seguros, actualmente tenemos un vivero en el que ellos han participado de forma activa, en la recolección de semillas, siembra y regado de las plantas, juntos nos hemos maravillado con los pequeños brotes, seres tan vulnerables que dependen de nuestro cuidado.
Descubrir, conocer y comprender nuestro ambiente es un hecho cotidiano y un proyecto de vida.

Today in Amanda's Kindergarten they held a day of beautification and planting of ornamental and medicinal plants, each child brought a plant and all present cleaned the spaces where they would be planted. In short, it is to take advantage of those moments of curiosity, which are not few, to deepen and lay solid foundations with logical, coherent and appropriate answers for their age. That is the dynamic that Gaspar and I have assumed, Diego is only 1 year and 10 months old and in those: Mommy or Daddy what, what, what? asking What is that? we give clear answers with examples and we answer them as many times as necessary (many times hehehehe). The thing is that on her own she studied the ants that live in the yard, several times a day, she had several minutes to observe them, she brought them different types of food to know their preferences and discovered that they like the thickest leaves of kalanchoe, rice, leftover bread, they climb plants, they are very strong, they live very many in an anthill, they walk very fast, they fall from the top and do not get hurt and above all they are vulnerable to water. That is the information that she managed to decipher, I only accompanied her investigation taking care that her analysis was correct, it was not classes, nor scolding her not to step on them, it was the game she invented to satisfy her need for knowledge, now she not only looks at ants with respect, but she recognizes you as an important part of nature. That is just one example, both Diego and Amanda we take them by the hand, one step at a time, but they are sure steps, we currently have a nursery in which they have actively participated in the collection of seeds, planting and watering of plants, together we have marveled at the little sprouts, so vulnerable beings that depend on our care.English Version
Living consciously, respecting the environment
World Environment Day should be a day for reflection and action, especially for those of us who are mothers and fathers.
In this sense, educating children with ecological awareness and respectful of the environment is not an option, but an obligation that begins at a very early age, so that they assume a respectful culture with everyone and everything around them.
For her part, Amanda is 3 years and 10 months old, her answers always surprise us and her reasoning capacity is incredible.
A few weeks ago she wanted to know more about the "bugs".
Discovering, knowing and understanding our environment is a daily fact and a life project.
