 ...come back another day

They call it tropical islands and rainy season for a reason. It had been pouring rain non stop this morning with thunder and lightning as an addition to the scene. And even though my motto normally is 'when it rains, you swimming' but with the power of the thunders literally shaking the ground, this doesn't really seem like a good idea.

Actually the only reason why I am bummed out by this rain is because it is taking away my time to master my paddleboard skills in balance. The paddleboard is lacking the stabilizing fin and because of this the challenge is even better. Actually I love paddling silently on the water just looking at the waves and staring at the land which slides further and further away.

But I also understand the power of nature when it comes to storms and rain. With thunder and water, you just shouldn't make any jokes before you end up as grilled Karin on an board. It is the tropics here, so honestly I expect decent weather to turn up any given time honestly.

While at home bad weather and literally spoil my mood, it hasn't affected me here at all and I don't feel bored for any second.

I feel...calm. But I cant wait to be back on the board again and paddle around the corner into the great unknown again.
