Spiky Alien Blob / Speed sculpt music video

A few weeks ago I discovered the web tool

which is a browser program where you can sculpt digitally in 3D. I have only dabbled in 3D sculpting, I've never used blender or any of the popular programs but I found this quite easy and intuitive to use.

I started off by inserting some of my art as a background and played around a bit.

There's something really satisfying about squishing that virtual clay around. I used to sculpt with sculpey and fimo clay a lot and it's something I really miss.

Added some final touches and colors, blobs, horns...

You can see the full sculpt here, the actual time was around 15 minutes but I have condensed it around 2 minutes!
