How to Become a Business Guru!

Do you want to become a business guru? How does one become a business guru?
I'll show you exactly the steps you can go through if you want to become a business guru.
Number one over anything else, to begin with, is who do you listen to? What results are the people you are listening to having in their life?
If you want to become a business guru, you want to listen to someone who's got the results that you want and has experience relevant for you specifically this is my experience.
This is how much money I've made online. 1.5 million dollars since 2015 in revenue and almost $700,000 in profit.
These are my final numbers from my taxes that I've filed the last 4 years. You can see the followers. I've got millions of followers online. You can see the years related to this, 8 years as an entrepreneur online, parent, married, and sober.

These are relevant things to my life. When you pick who to listen to, you want to pick people that you want all of what they have. If you want to become a business guru, learn and listen from someone that you want all of what they have.
Do you want what I have? I have an incredible life where I'm happy, excited, enthusiastic almost all day and almost every day.
I wake up most days like yes, let's go. Let's see what I can do today. I go to bed by saying, Thank you God for another amazing day. I go out throughout the day doing work I love. I even have just enough health challenges, little pain points that I quickly get through. Fears that crop up and that gives me the chance to get back and focus.
If you want to become a business guru and you listen to someone who doesn't have what you want, you will get off track. You won't be able to do it yourself and you will then look around and apply what seems to be working for them but then when you apply, it won't work for you.
The results I've got are based on working from home. The results I've got are based on never hiring a business guru to coach myself. Strictly from reading books, doing my own business online, helping as many people as possible and working on every single aspect of my life.
If you want to become an effective business guru, ideally, you will have the rest of your life together well also.
If you listen to a business guru that the only part of their life they've got together is their business and sure maybe they've made tens of millions or hundreds of millions or billions but they have an unhappy personal life, where they don't have a stable relationship.
Whether they're not happy daily and you listen to them, you will get all of it. You may get huge income numbers, you may end up losing relationships and your health over it.
I'm extremely healthy. I love my body. I love how I look. I feel good every day and nothing hurts. I have nearly unlimited energy. It's ridiculous. In fact, an easy way for me to get uncomfortable is not putting my energy back out there.
If you want to become a business guru, once you nail down who you listen to, then you're ready to advance. If you must get down, who to listen to because there are so many books you can read?
There is so much training you can do. I've never been to a seminar that costs more than a hundred dollars now that may change in the future but I've done all of this without going to any fancy or expensive seminars.
I've done all this just by reading books doing my own business and singing what I learn in every single aspect of my life.
If you want to become a business guru, managing personal life is essential. Unless you want to have a disastrous personal life and just try and be yourself only while you're doing your business.
If you want to be a business guru, reading is essential and constant. You've got to nail down who to listen to. I've read a lot of really helpful books.
I've done lots of videos. I've got a video playlist that is a reading list and I'm going to do more of those specific things that you can go read these books. I've read tons of business books that have helped me a lot.
I've also read some business books that have got me off track. One book I highly recommend is “Start with Why”. It's about focusing on why you're doing your business. Focus everything on “why”.
Another tip is to help other people. Always think about how you can help other people always.
- How may I help and serve other people?
- What can you give to someone else?
- How can you solve other people's problems?
- How can you make life easier?
- How can you help people reach their maximum potential through your business?
This is why I'm doing this right now. I love the idea of a world where you're reaching your full potential, where your idea of your potential goes sky high after you've picked out who to listen to.
The key step is to be teachable. You've got to be teachable if you want to become a business guru.
You need to be teachable. You need to be able to learn from the other business gurus and across your personal life. You need to be able to learn. I've read over 200 books on audible. I've read more books in print and on Kindle. I've read in the last 5 or 6 years. I've probably read 300 books.
I finished most of those books meaning I've read or listened to every word of the book. I also consistently watch videos. I'm talking to other people, having a support group is really helpful. If you want to become a business guru, having a mentor is extremely helpful.
If you want me to be your mentor, you can hire me hourly. If you can start with a one-on-one call then you can get coaching. In fact, if I had to start all over again, if I wanted to get these results faster, the number one suggestion I would apply to myself is to get a mentor.
Get a mentor because a mentor has an idea of what you don't know. In a state of unconscious incompetence, where you don't know what you don't know, you are totally helpless.
If you want to be a business guru, the ideal state is to have a mentor that has more experience than you. That you want all of what they have. You want their whole life. You want their whole life because if you work with someone who maybe is really good at business and makes billions of dollars and they're an expert at business but they don't have a fulfilling personal life.
You don't want to learn about business from them because everything they talk about unless you want to have the same personal life they do because their advice will be given to you through their own lens.
I have a balanced beautiful life. My business is done in proportion to the rest of my life. Therefore, when I give mentoring and advice, I always temper it to make sure you're not doing too much.
If I'm suggesting something that takes you more time, you need to have a spot in your life where you can cut out something you're doing that's less valuable to make time for this.
Whereas, for example, if you want to become a business guru and you get a mentor that's pushing you to work more, take time away from your family, travel be gone, your marriage slips away, you don't get to see your kids anymore and you're paying child support on of all the money you're making. That is not ideal.
If you want to become a business guru, pick the ideal mentor for you and you may want to just do business and not fool around without family life. Family life can be a big limitation to becoming a business guru because it greatly limits the amount of time you can work without going out of balance.
For me, my family helps me to be more effective in the business I do and I'm very grateful for that.
If you want to become a business guru, there's no substitute for doing business. You can see in my stats, 8 years as an entrepreneur online. If you notice, the money I made online does not include 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. That's 4 years. That's half my business.

If you want to become a business guru, you better be willing to fail and fail and fail and fail and fail until you completely question everything and become teachable. I've failed so many times in my business and then I've got to places where it seemed I could never fail again and a bigger failure than ever.
How about losing a thousand dollars a day an income with an email? Talk about failure and yet here I am to rock you like a hurricane.
If you want to become a business guru, be ready to do business for a long time. If you've already been in business a long time well, you've probably learned a lot. You've probably learned a lot already and to me, I don't want a business guru who hasn't been in business for at least 8 years.
Work with someone who's got what you want. There's no substitute for simply spending time and you want to ultimately get to a level of unconscious competence with a business where you just know the business back and forth. You've read so many books. You've done so much yourself. You've worked with mentors.
I'm lucky, I've had a lot of people who've mentored me in one way or another for free and yet I see today the critical element I'm missing a mentor myself and I imagine the right mentor will manifest in my life as I'm opening up for it.
