This is my first post on Hive
 I'm much delighted being here with you to share life experiences, live, love and grow.

MEET ME!

My name is Ugochinyerem (The Eagle God bestowed on me) I translate it to mean "God's treasured jewel" I'm special and unique, I'm all sheds of awesomeness and a beauty to behold. I'm so much in love with my name, you know; it has been a pillar upon which I stand. I am from Nigeria, my birthday is June 10th. June has been my favorite month of the year, I'm usually on a high spirit in June maybe b'cos I've got birthdays to celebrate yeah!. I love Kdrama, novels and soft life. I am Ugoo of the soft life.

I am a psychologist, mental health Advocate, counselor and your "Go to" person.

As a psychologist and mental health Advocate I provide support and advice to people with issues of mental health concern , I listen, stand for, speak up for, and fight alongside them. I achieve this through awareness campaign and on one on one clarity session.

As a counselor I help people improve coping skills, strengthen self esteem, promote behavior change and leave them with clarity of purpose. I just love having people share their life experiences with me and we journey through it together.

As your "Go to person" I can be likened to a burden bearer, it still surprises me how people confide in me so easily, i imagine how people naturally get so free and open around me even strangers to share the deepest part of themselves in total confidence hoping I provide succor. Thankfully, I have been good at it.
 I've got good listening ears,friendly, calm and good spirited. Well, let's just call it a gift.

HOW DID I GET HERE!
  I got to know Hive Blockchain from a friend's friend who thought it wise sharing this platform with us, bless you bro! It came about when he was sharing his life with us and his journey so far in writing and the platform that meets his satisfaction I got interested, he guided me patiently through the registration process and to this first post. I have always longed to be in a platform like this where I can freely express myself in writing, blog on my daily life and have people read me, here I am on Hive. My joy knew no bound, I am so happy to be here with you hoping for a very memorable stay.

DO YOU CARE TO KNOW ME MORE?

My reality,
I maybe a loner, I can stay at home all day provided I have food and subscriptions, I can't be bored staying alone, I'm my greatest companion.
I am a jovial introvert,reserved and shy, very gifted with words. I rarely go wrong using them, I've got the right words for every situation that's what made me study psychology.

 I'm deeply rooted on emotions, I'm very much expressive in words and actions, I give love and care freely as though I owe it and I expect to receive in return. I'm big on love and friendship, it must be close and cordial. If I stand by you, it feels like the whole world is with you. Because I come to you with all of me.
I love love and I believe in true love maybe I will find mine here, who knows lols!

 
One sad reality being me is that I fight my demons alone,people assume that a doctor should be in better position to treat himself, so is my case when I'm challenged,people assume I can handle it alone. I hate to hear "what should I tell you, you already know what to do". sometimes all I need is just a shoulder to lean on and cry unto or even someone that understand I'm human and whoever I am to others doesn't mean I won't be needing same in my case. all good, it has helped me stay strong and true to self. I understand what it means going through difficulties alone that's what inspire my availability on others difficult moments. We all need each other in our down moments.
