French action thriller, which can be seen on one of the famous streaming platforms.
There's nothing new in this production. It's a typical action film, where a now-regenerated criminal is involved in a crime and will have to fight against all obstacles, to prove he's a good man.
The film fills the Netflix cinematic offer, with a story, nothing original, but entertaining, ideal to clear the mind of everyday life, with action scenes and car chases.
Balle Perdue is a French production, for which Netflix bought the distribution rights, promoting it as an original production of the streaming platform. Many of the films in Netflix's catalogue have bought the distribution rights, and it is not 100% original from the platform.

The most remarkable thing about the film that I liked, is that the action scenes and especially the car chases, were done in a classic way, destroying real cars, without the use of green screens. I'm tired of today's action movies, with their excessive use of green screens, creating almost all the action on computers. So when I watch movies that do the action scenes, in the style of years past, it's more exciting for me.
I saw the trailer, which motivated me to give the film a shot. I've stopped watching a lot of Hollywood action movies lately, because of the excess of computer effects they use. There comes a time when it overwhelms the mind, seeing so much destruction done with digital special effects.
I prefer these smaller productions, with digital special effects used without excess, with scenes of destroyed cars, in the classic style. The story is not original at all, but you get a film that serves to distract us for a couple of hours.
Guillaume Pierret has worked as a producer, cameraman, screenwriter, with experience in some television programs and in a short film, as can be seen in his IMDB file. This film is his debut in a major production, with him in the director's chair. The filmmaker also wrote the script.
The actors play their role in the story, they don't have much depth, the protagonist and the antagonist, they do it correctly. The actor Alban Lenoir plays the main character, Lino. He has a career in film and television in his country. His physique makes him perfect for this kind of acting. The singer and actress, Stefi Celma, plays Julia, one of the police officers who had an affair with Lino. She helps the protagonist to achieve the final goal, but I would have liked her character to develop further.

An entertaining option to see this weekend. Corrupt cops, regenerated criminals, hand-to-hand fights and semi-modified car chases to get the adrenaline pumping, with this French action movie.
