This is in continuation to my SummerFest journey which I have shared on Pinmapple a few days ago. One of the main attractions at the SummerFest was the Little Escape Market which I have mentioned in my post. There are still more photos worth sharing so I opted to make this #MarketFriday blog because I thought @dswigle probably likes to see this market too.

The Little Escape Market
Different stores with different products in Hong Kong have come to the SummerFest in collaboration with LocoLoco, the main organizer of the outdoor market which ran for more than two months.
The market showcased the creativity of different local designers from different stores, mainly consisting of unique handcrafted designs. This was indeed a great way to promote creative culture to the general public.
From personal items, pet items, and gift items, to plants and food. They all have it here.
This booth was my favorite. The cacti and succulents are the prettiest. These are too creative as they were planted in recycled bottles of different drinks. This is another way to promote recycling to protect mother nature.
For those looking for cute cacti in small pots, the other booth had them. Even the cute pots are creatively designed too.
And more potted indoor plants and cute cacti in this booth.
I wasn't sure of these, but they seem to be like wood-crafted decors that are suitable to display on the veranda, balcony, or home garden.
The next favorite booth was this one with dream catchers and other spiritual ornaments and stones. I heard that a workshop on how to make dreamcatchers was also held in this market. I wasn't able to see it, which was probably scheduled at a certain time.
And who likes crocheted products and toys? I do love them and I like these booths.
Crocheted bags and clothes were available at this booth. The crocheted sling bags were my favorites with different cute designs; flowers, smileys, and others.
On the other side were cute crocheted toys and key chains. They were so cute and perfect as gift items for kids this Christmas.
The place seemed to be overloaded with crocheted cute toys, inspired by different cartoon characters. There were path holders, tumbler holders, key chains, coin purses, and others.
Even these cute little plants were crocheted too. Creativity overloads! I so love these booths.
While looking at them, my desire to learn how to crochet seemed to be restored. It was 2019 when I became fond of watching videos of crocheting but I am always postponing my plan to practice due to busyness at work and in blogging, lol. I hope someday, I could pursue this creative hobby. I like cross-stitching too and have made some that were sent back home. That was before when I wasn't into blogging yet. Cross-stitching was my hobby back then.
There were more creative handmade products in the market.
Colorful and printed hats, bags, pouches, and kids' clothes in this booth were manually sewn.
There were manually sewn key chains, coin purses, and bags that were also inspired by cartoon and manga characters.
The ethnic and cultural affinity of the designer of this shop can be seen in the designs of these unique handmade accessories and artworks. Those handmade earrings in different styles are a perfect match for summer-fashioned ethnic and cultural clothes.
There were more ethnic-inspired accessories on the other booth.
And more types of accessories, Chinese lucky charms, and ornaments.
Speaking of lucky charms, these items are auspicious charms based on each zodiac sign that is said to bring good luck to the wearer. Chinese and other countries have a lot of these kinds of beliefs that have been passed through the ages. But nowadays, these are most likely worn as fashion accessories, especially by young people.
Meanwhile, these crafts could make customers reminisce about the memories of different journeys seen through the windows designed with different scenery. They have wood crafts, Japanese light sculptures, woodcuts and carvings, and more that are perfect for the room, office, or home displays.
And a lot more home decor, kitchenware, scented candles, and more, even pet items were present. Pet lovers can have customized pet name tags in this corner.
The shop that differs from all was this one selling traditional Chinese food products. Most were dried traditional Chinese soup ingredients.
And in every market, there are always fashionable clothes, especially for ladies. Several shops were selling handmade design clothes and other garments.
The vintage collections by Gau6 and 6DOTS.CO were pretty cool. There were belts, hats, watches, wallets, and other accessories too.
There were imported items too from Thailand and other Asian countries.
Thai items were sold here.
Blue jean crafts and gift items, you bet? They are available in this shop. I especially like the blue jean phone case and wallet.
Meanwhile, dye clothes were the main items of the Physiojam shop. Not just clothes are dyed, but also hats.
Sports and outdoor wear were available in this shop. I do like the yoga pair. I'll visit the shop one of these days to check their other items.
Of course, different handmade bags were everywhere, mostly made from leather. There were pouches, and coin purses too.
Those fans of this male group would definitely like this shop. I wasn't sure what group this was. Probably a Hong Kong male group. The shop was selling light boxes and photo frames made from wood. There were different home decorations too.
It was afternoon when I visited the SummerFest, but I seemed to have walked for the whole day. One array of stalls had brought me to different shops and there were several arrays of outdoor shops that span across the center part of the venue.
It was such a great journey that has allowed me to experience Hong Kong life, and see more different Hong Kong products that I haven't seen before yet. Moreover, I discovered more unique shops that are worth visiting some other days.
That concludes my #MarketFriday for today. See you next Friday, and I surely will drop another kind of market experience.
