Dear Mr. Kirdeikis,

I'm writing you now to personally make you aware of an injustice being perpetrated on me on the Uptrennd platform.

I joined Uptrennd less than a month ago and my ID is JC P.

I've been in the Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Blogging space for quite some time.

I can remember when M.K. was at Mt. Gox, C.H. was at Ethereum and J.M. was at Ripple.

That's why I found it odd to be punished for NOT being me?

See this rather snide comment I received yesterday:

"The Automod Strikes! It seems you marked your post as OC while you are not the original author. No worries, I’ve fixed it for you by removing the OC badge and taken a 100 points fee for the troubles." 14 hours ago

Who may I ask, penned this adolescent rubbish?

It reads like a kid trying to be cool - and failing miserably.

The rest of this message is for the author of that nasty comment and unwarranted police action:

Seriously?!

This is insane!

I AM THE AUTHOR OF EVERYTHING I POST ONLINE. THAT ORIGINAL CONTENT BELONGS TO ME - THE CREATOR OF IT.

Here's a brilliant idea for you:

Simply have a competent, REAL PERSON - not you or your bot with a poor filter algorithm and dubious, broad-stroke parameters - sit down and Google any (or all) of these search terms:

"JaiChai Medium", "JaiChai Publish 0x," "JaiChai Publiq", "JaiChai Steemit", "JaiChai cointelegraph", "JaiChai XRPChat", "JaiChai Slog Media", "JaiChai Hive Blog", "JaiChai Weku", "JaiChai XRP Talk" or "JaiChai torum.com".

Guess what he'll see on all those magazine articles, short stories, blog posts, comments and replies?

ME.

HE WILL SEE ME.

HE WILL SEE "MY" AVATAR.

HE WILL SEE "MY" BIO.

HE WILL SEE "MY" WRITING STYLE.

HE WILL SEE "MY" BLOG FORMAT.

HE WILL SEE “MY” INTRO AND CLOSING REMARKS!

Automod needs thorough testing, tweaking and debugging before letting him out in the wild again.

Just like Steemit's early bot named "Cheetah", Automod can't tell the difference between real bad actors and someone who simply likes to write and publishes a lot of content.

At least the people running the Cheetah bot on Steemit realized the problem and fixed it.

They didn't simply gloat over "catching and punishing" another bad guy.

I'm assuming that the snide, little auto-reply sent to me was hidden, not viewable to anyone else on Uptrennd.

If it wasn't and others viewed it without my consent, you can add breaching an Uptrennd customer's privacy and public slander to the growing list of misdeeds.

These irresponsible actions appear malevolent, with the intent to defame, degrade and humiliate.

If it was supposed to be some kind of childish prank, I'm not laughing - just shaking my head at yet another spectacular brain fart.

Further similar behavior will cast shadows of doubt about the integrity of other mid-level community managers and eventually shine a bright light on Uptrennd's culture and internal self-governance.

Is this "shoot first, trial later" mindset the norm at Uptrennd?

Is this how new Uptrennd members are always treated?

How can the current members trust a member with positional authority - supposedly to protect and serve - when he doesn't even know what's on the "About Uptrennd" section of the official website.

Let's see if my status is restored and my account is made whole as fast as Automod pronounced me guilty, erased up votes and slapped me with a 100 point fine.
