Tiger Encounter at Dubai Safari Park..

I want to share with you about my recent encounter with The king, the king of Jungle.. The Tiger..
 

You might be thinking why I am calling tiger as king of jungle instead of lion. This is because of our guide in safari. He shared few facts which made me accept the tiger as the king of Jungle.

One of the main thing he mentioned is tigers are more stronger than lions. Male tigers are doing hunting and feeding the family however in lions, female lioness is doing the hunting and male lions taking care of cubs. Sometimes lions steals the food from other smaller animals but tigers always prefers to hunt by their own. Lion hunts in group however tiger prefers to hunts alone like a king. Few more points are also there which I will share with you some other time.

But the things which he advised me about tigers were enough to convince me and accept Tiger as King of Jungle over lion.

We visited the Dubai Safari park recently. During our visit our main attraction was seeing tigers from very close. I have not seen any wild animal from this close recently. Few years back I went to Bannerghatta National Park Safari in Bangalore, that time I have seen many animals but after that this time only I have seen so many animals. It was a very good experience. Luckily the time we visited Dubai Safari, it was a pleasing weather and all the tigers were awake and walking here and there and passing by very close to our safari ride. It was so scary as well as exiting to see such a giant animal so closely. They looked very strong and healthy.

 

 
But one thing I missed in this visit, I missed tiger's roar. They were very calm. I felt like this is a sign that I should visit this place again soon.
