Director Jonathan Glazer Wins the Oscar For 'Most Pathetic As-A-(Former)Jew'

English film director and screenwriter Jonathan Glazer is a Jew, whose ancestors were Ukrainian Jews and Bessarabian Jews who fled the Kishinev pogrom and arrived in the United Kingdom in the 1900s.

According to a 2014 JC report published not long after his movie Under the Skin was released, he is a proud Jew:

So did he chat to [Scarlett] Johansson about Jewish stuff? “Her mother is Jewish, her dad isn’t. We spoke a little about that. She’s very proud of her Jewishness and I guess we connected on that level.”

Or should I say was. After winning the Oscar for best international feature film with The Zone of Interest, an Auschwitz drama, Glazer "renounced his Jewishness" over Israel's war against Hamas:

Worst reason for renouncing one's Judaism since this guy.

But seriously, the only thing worse than this virtue signaling as-a-(former) Jew getting up on the podium on Oscar's night in front of a global audience and throwing Judaism and Israel under the bus over Israel defending herself against the genocidal maniacs of Hamas - clearly choosing to believe their lies as truth - is the applause he received. Which goes to show how Hollywood's deafening silence over the events of October 7th is not so much the product of cowardice as it is the product of moral depravity.

And if that wasn't bad enough, Glazer considered himself a lover of Israel back in 2014:

Glazer is fairly sure that his creativity was not something that was encouraged during his days at JFS in Camden. However, he does credit the school with his “love affair” with Israel, which was sparked by his participation in the Givat Washington scheme in which small groups of pupils spent five months in an Israeli religious boarding school

What changed since then? Well, Hamas continued to fire rockets into Israel over the years, culminating in the October 7 massacre, in which they butchered at least 1139 Israelis and foreign nationals, kidnapped another 250 and raped an indeterminate amount of people. And Israel responded in order to prevent Hamas from repeating it again and again, as Hamas have explicitly promised to do if they get the chance.

Jonathan Glazer, I am glad you renounced your Judaism because we don't want you anymore.
