Motivating Children with Sporting Activity

Hello everyone! How are you doing today? it's not all by being a teacher or tutor but it requires bringing in innovative ideas that will make the whole process of learning more interesting. Learners are motivated by the activities which they too are part of, through participating in the activities of their interest.

I'm a teacher and I've so much passion for teaching profession, I'm a professional and certified teacher, I work at Begotten International Schools, one of the prestigious Nursery, Primary and Secondary in the city of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria. Teaching job comes with one of the most complex challenges of dealing with human behaviors of over a thousand children who do not understand neither knows themselves not their left from right and all the need is a great level of love, cake and creativity in dealing with their individual differences in order to get the set result of moulding them to fit into the society.

One of those things are keep children motivated is sports, there are diverse sports activities which I suggested for the school management and they graciously embraced them into their curriculum, it was interesting seeing those students whom some teachers thought they are dull, performing in an amazing way. It's pertinent to notice that not every children is intellectual sound, some are very good at sporting activities.

Inter-house Sports is a mean of educational motivation and discovering some hidden talents in these children, last week we organized inter-house sports guess what happened! I was given some set of children which according to them, they thought they were dull but I surprise them during training I discovered that that most of these children are so talented in sporting activities, it was a surprise to the entire some management as we came out victorious, winner in every activities including match pass, dancing, running, long and short jump and the overall winner.
