Greetings to everyone, it another week of afri-tunes where we celebrate African musician and their songs.
This week I'll be singing a song by Dr Enenche Paul tittled "let me want what you want".
Funniest thing was that I knew this man of God through his music career, I even knew he is a man of God untill I came across his ministration on social media, I was so surprised that I had to ask one of my brethren, he was also suprised to know that he's a musician, he knew him as a man of God but never has a gospel musician.
What am trying to expound is that he's a multi-gifted and talented man of God, he's good with songs, a good teacher, a prayer warrior, shepherd. God is really using in all aspect.
Sometimes what we might be desiring is right behind us, I believe there's something about praying to God for something, there are times that what we seek from God is not what He has in plans for us, that's is why it seems He doesn't answers our prayers.
God does not want anything that will lead to our destruction, but our persistency sometimes is dangerous to us. It is good to ask for God direction before praying, we have to pray in alignment with His will for our lives.
This song is a song with thirst and hunger for His will, to ask from God without considering our flesh, desiring for God's plan over our lives, putting Him first in all our endeavors.
[VERSE 1]
Let me want what you want
Oh! My dear Lord
Let me love what you love
Oh! dear Lord
That is how you designed life to be Lord
Help me Lord to live how I ought to live
[CHORUS]
Oh! Lord take me to the place
Where I have no will
That is separate from your Will
Oh! Lord take me to the place
Where I have no choice
That is separate from your Choice
To be lost in you is my desire
To be all for you is all I want
