Its another week of Afri-tunes,it a pleasure to be part of the family where we celebrate African musician and their songs.
This week, if possible I could sing two songs I would have gone for the both songs, " at the center of it all" aby even and "believe me" by johnny drille, both it's sad I have to go for just one.
Initially my pick was "believe me" by Johnny drille, his songs had been hit back to back recently, he is a musician with spec and class,I appreciate his effort in music industry, but nevertheless I later decided to go for "at the center of it all" by Eben because the song describes my current mood.
The first time I heard this song was when my brother came home for short break, he loved Frank edward like himself.
When he played this song,I already concluded in my mind that it was frank edward, but as I listened more carefully, I noticed it wasn't him and was forced to ask who he was cause I already fell in love with this song. Its a song with sweet and simple progression, I had to sing it over and over, even had to teach the choir in my church.
Its a song of commendation, acknowledging God for being the author of our life, it's a song I find comfort in ,in times of troubles, in bad times am overwhelmed by His love.
LYRICS;
At the center of it all
It's you that I see
It's you that I see
At the center of it all
It's you that I see
It's you that I see
There is power in your name
Miracles happen in your name
As we lift our voice in praise
It's you that I see
It's you that I see
