DAY 2 - Exploring Cala en Porter: Menorca’s Tranquil Paradise

Hello, fellow travelers of this community!
Today, I’ll continue my story about my vacation in Menorca. I'll show you through my photos the beautiful beach I had the chance to discover for the first time. It’s a place I really enjoyed, and honestly, even though some people told me that being a famous tourist spot it might be crowded, it turned out to be very peaceful.
I’m talking about Cala en Porter, a stunning beach known for its shell-like shape with towering cliffs surrounding it. Thankfully, these cliffs provided some protection from the strong winds that often blow in the southern part of Menorca. Here, the sand is fine and white, and as you can see from the photos, the water is very clear and a deep blue. I absolutely loved this beach, but especially enjoyed swimming in the crystal-clear water. How can one resist such beauty?
Also, even though I’m quite a capable swimmer, I found this beach particularly interesting for families. The water isn’t very deep, so with proper caution—since we know the sea can always be dangerous—there’s a real opportunity for family fun.
I also considered organizing a boat excursion while I was there, as it's a very common experience for visitors. However, the prices were quite high, and I was told that lately, tourists are being taken advantage of, which I think is not a good thing.
I hope that one day you too will get to visit this place because it’s truly beautiful. I’ll continue to share my vacation story and photos in upcoming posts, so stay tuned! See you next time!
