Arsenal Lead Racing Sign Rafael Leao

Arsenal are considered a potential sign for AC Milan striker Rafael Leao, according to La Repubblica.
The 22 year old is now in his third season with Ac Milan where he has make himself a key player under manager Stefano Pioli.
The club are already planning to renew his contract which expires in June 2024, but are still speculating about his future.
According to La Repubblica, the Portuguese are attracting interest in the 'Premier League side', but Arsenal are 'leading the way' with his signing.
The report does not specify any reason, but it is suggested that the Gunners show a greater interest in Leao before the summer.
Leao was initially a regular player for Milan, but played only on the left side of the tournament and a tense competition before.
The change of position has proved to be a blessing to him. He has scored 10 goals and six assistants in 27 games.
In addition to his goal-scoring prowess, he is famous for his high level of work and skilful ability that may have caught the eye of the Gunners.
The North London giants do not want another wide-ranging player, but Leao may be the club's target for strengthening the strikers' squad.
The club released Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang last month and Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah could leave when their contracts expire in June.
This might leave the Gunners without a big striker. Folarin Balogun has no experience, and may not be offered the job of leading the line for next term.
It would not be surprising if a club follows more than one striker. Leao could be a potential player if they take advantage of his contract.
Leao is currently valued at £ 31.5 million by Transfermarkt, but the Gunners may need to pay a much higher fee to convince the Rossoneri to sell in the summer.
That may not be the end of the stumbling block. They may need to reassure him of the Champions League football that Milan can win in the second straight season.
