Happiest 1st Birthday, My Niece / this time the Wong Clan's side

Another awesome birthday celebration, my little niece turned 1 year old. She was our precious girl in the Wong clan, because somehow we only had boys in our midst. So she is the flower in the midst of leaves. Flower=girl, grass=boys. Haha. Just kidding. My husband would prefer 'the flower surrounded by bees'.
Birthday Celebration at In-Laws' House
My brother-in-law and sister-in-law decided to host the celebration at in-laws' house, and my sister-in-law really put a lot of effort in decorating the place for the celebration. She was so brilliant in doing this. Creative. Innovative. Beautiful. Sweet!
We reached the place and smelled fragrance aroma from cooking. Both brother-in-law and mother-in-law was busy cooking in the kitchen. I went to my niece and said happy birthday to her while passing present and 'angpao'. Such a privilege to hold and took a photo with her. Due to we seldom see each other, so she is not so familiar with me yet. Still, such a cutie sweet pie!
Next, the Grandpa carried her and I could feel Grandpa was swollen with pride, so to speak. Lol. He asked me to help him take a photo of them. Here you go.
The children were happily screen timing together, nowadays they loved to play mobile games together. Such a sight.
Photo time!!!
Before the niece got tired, we seized the moment to quickly take photos.
It was always joyous to sing birthday song together, taking photos and cutting cakes.
The cakes which my sister-in-law prepared was all so yummy and beautiful.
We gathered together to have prayers, usually the grandparents would be the one praying and releasing blessings to the little one.
Time to eat!
Sumptous dinner prepared by brother-in-law and mother-in-law.
Brother-in-law cooked for us super delicious baked salmon topped with heavenly 'sambal' and surrounded by chickpeas. Mind you, it was extremely delicious. Salmon is always my favourite dish! And all of us super loved this dish.
Beside salmon, he also cooked super umami-filled roasted chicken chop. Yums!!!
And also smoked beef tongue, my first time eating this and it was extremely delicious.
He also cooked for us miso sesame vegetables, simple yet delectable.
Mother-in-law cooked for us her signature stewed pork trotter.
Sister-in-law also prepared for us dessert as snacks, there were mini tarts as well as yummy soft mochi. The kids loved this section especially my youngest son, he ate 4 mini tarts before the dinner.
We had a lot of time to chit chat, not just with family but with another close friend family who were invited also because they helped my in-laws side a lot throughout the year. Such a precious family friends to us.
The kids got to hang out. The adults got to chit chat. What a night to spend time together.
I super loved the gifts given to me by my sister-in-law as her token of appreciation.
Bloom and grow, my little niece. You are so precious and beautiful.💖🌻
