Review: Delicious Beef Teriyaki at Sushi Mura!
Greetings fellow food lovers!
Recently I have been traveling British Colombia Canada, filming stuff for the SkateHive community, and of course have been trying out new resturants while I'm here! That's when I remembered Wavio, and decided to use it to find a local resturant! Low and behold I found Sushi Mura using the map feature, and was able to go there with just a short skate ono my longboard.
When I showed up on a board to their rather high scale sushi resturant, I could tell they were a little surprised, and just assumed I was an unusual pick up or delivery order. However once I cleared up that I wanted to sit down to eat, they were very cutrious, and found me a nice table close to the sushi bar. Resturant had a upscale, but welcoming feel to it, and some really great light that I almost broke bumping my helmet into them when I entered.
Service
Service was great, and I even had a second waitress check to make sure I had been taken care of. Rather than water, they give you this warm broth which I forgot to take a picture of. I thought that was a really nice touch!
Presentation
The food came out not long after ordering, and was on a hot and sizzling skillet, which smelled amazing! The rice was the most perfect sticky, and super auromatic! All in all the presentation was pretty much perfect.
Taste
The beef was perfectly tender, very juicy, and flavourful. The teriyaki sauce was the perfect level of sweet and tangy! While the rice was light and fluffy, and was great for soaking up all the juices that had escaped the beef.
The one thing i would have to critize however, is the ratio of sauce and beef, to the amount of bean sprouts there was! I had to be very careful to portion how much meat I took with each bite, or I felt I'd be left eating nothing but bean sprouts by the end of it. Had they just included just a little more sauce to flavour these been sprouts more, I would have given this meal a strong 4, or 4.5 out of 5. #foodie #foodiesbeehive #travelfeed #travel #foodreview
