And we got 1 episode of the new Marvel series. I wasn't aiming for anything, the series so far have been disappointing for me (I've only seen half of "WandaVision" and "Hawkeye"), and the movies ... Well, they are made more and more on a massive scale, so their quality has gone bad as well. And certainly in terms of effects and just like the previous series looked pretty good, "She-Hulk" is exceptionally weak in this respect. Some scenes still looked pretty good, but when the CGI of the heroine or Bruce met some real, tangible element, it felt like I was back in the days of PlayStation 1. Then their low quality was most noticeable. Well, apart from scenes that were edited in such a way that the weak or rather underdeveloped effects were as little visible as possible. I wonder if Marvel will eventually do something about these terms to make their films look better ...

But other than that, it was fine. The first episode was genuinely funny and while some of the jokes or lyrics were either forced or not funny, most of them made me and my girlfriend laugh, which is a very good result for Marvel. This is largely due to the actress - although in the beginning, in my opinion, she did not cope with the role, but after the second half of the episode, I find that I was wrong. I can feel the chemistry between her and Mark Ruffalo - maybe not on some high level, but I feel like they like each other and have good comedy timing. You can also see that playing the role of the Alpha Female gives her a lot of fun. The thread regarding the courts and lawyer work gives hope for something cool. It was quite funny that Disney, despite supporting the left and the Woke movement (I remind you of openly supporting the Democrats and attacking D. Trump), made it clear that She-Hulk is weaker than Bruce. Sure, he's more familiar with his abilities, he's more experienced, but at least he's not breaking the logic that a woman can be stronger than a man. It's also nice that She Hulk understands and takes into account her cousin's comments. Admittedly, it was only after this one showed her that he was very wrong, but I think that rather everyone would have acted like that in her place and had a repression effect.

All in all, it wasn't great, but we had a lot of fun and we'll be watching a new episode every Thursday. At least as long as the show doesn't break down. Which is, unfortunately, quite possible.

No i dostaliśmy 1 odcinek nowego serialu Marvela. Nie nastawiałem się na nic, seriale dotychczas były dla mnie rozczarowujące (widziałem tylko połowę "WandaVision" oraz "Hawkeye"), a filmy... Cóż, są robione coraz bardziej na masową skalę, więc ich jakość też się zepsuła. A na pewno pod względem efektów i tak jak poprzednie seriale wyglądały całkiem nieźle, tak "She-Hulk" jest pod tym względem wyjątkowo słabe. Niektóre sceny jeszcze w miarę nieźle wyglądały, ale jak CGI bohaterki lub Bruce'a stykało się z jakimś realnym, namacalnym elementem, to czułem się jakbym wrócił do czasów PlayStation 1. Wtedy ich niska jakość najmocniej rzucała się w oczy. No, pomijając sceny, które zostały tak zmontowane, by słabe, czy raczej, niedopracowane efekty, były jak najmniej widoczne. Ciekawe, czy Marvel coś w końcu zrobi z tymi terminami, by ich filmy zaczęły wyglądać lepiej...

No ale poza tym, było dobrze. Pierwszy odcinek był autentycznie zabawny i choć niektóre żarty lub teksty były albo wymuszone albo nieśmieszne, to większość rozbawiła mnie i moją dziewczynę, co jest bardzo dobrym wynikiem, jak na Marvela. W dużej mierze to zasługa aktorki - ta co prawda na początku wg mnie nie radziła sobie z rolą, ale po 2 połowie odcinka, stwierdzam że się pomyliłem. Czuję chemię między nią, a Markiem Ruffalo - może nie na jakimś wysokim poziomie, ale czuć że się lubią i mają dobry comedy timing. Widać też, że odgrywanie roli Samicy Alfa daje jej dużo zabawy. Wątek dotyczący sądów i pracy adwokackiej póki co daje nadzieje na coś fajnego. Całkiem zabawne było to, że Disney mimo wspierania lewicy i ruchu Woke (przypominam o jawnym wspieraniu demokratów i atakowaniu D. Trumpa), pokazał w wyraźny sposób, że She-Hulk jest słabsza od Bruce'a. Jasne, jest bardziej oswojony ze swoimi możliwościami, ma więcej doświadczenia, no ale przynajmniej nie ma gwałcenia logiki, że kobieta może być silniejsza od faceta. Aczkolwiek jest w stanie mu zagrozić, nie jest znacznie słabsza, za to ma inne umiejętności, dzięki czemu różnica się jeszcze bardziej zmniejsza. Miłe jest też to, że She Hulk rozumie uwagi swojego kuzyna i bierze je pod uwagę. Co prawda dopiero po tym, jak ten jej zademonstrował, że bardzo się myli, ale myślę że raczej każdy zachowywałby się tak na jej miejscu i miał efekt wyparcia.

Reasumując, nie było to coś wybitnego, ale bawiliśmy się dość przyjemnie i w każdy czwartek będziemy oglądali nowy odcinek. Przynajmniej tak długo, póki serial się nie zepsuje. Co jest niestety całkiem możliwe.
