You need to invite your friends to more coffee shops | Páramo Café ☕ (EN/ES)

Even though I don't drink coffee, I love meeting coffee shops. I love it when they are super nice and cozy. And it's not that I don't like the taste of coffee at all, it's just that I got used to not being able to drink it for health reasons. A cup of coffee is the same as feeling sick to my stomach, even feeling like I'm about to faint. I only use coffee to prepare desserts.

But back to the subject of coffee shops.... I love them. I find them the perfect spot to chat and catch up with friends, even to be alone, just enjoying your own company while eating and drinking something tasty.

That's why I recently invited two dear friends whom I haven't seen for a few months to Páramo Café, one of the branches located in Altamira, Caracas.

I really like this branch because it has a very cool covered terrace where you can be outdoors and I love that. And if you don't feel like being outside or you are hot, you can always stay inside where there are tables with very comfortable furniture and air conditioning.

Here they offer all kinds of coffee, hot or cold. Desserts, and plenty of sandwiches. So if you get hungry, you can kill it right there 😂.

On this occasion, after much thought (I'm indecisive), I decided on a chocolate muffin which cost $2.50 and a choco frappe with extra whipped cream for $4.50. The choco frappe is "my old reliable" because I love chocolate and that frappe is so rich, it tastes like Toddy.

The muffin was huge and tasted very good, it had a similar flavor to the chocolate panettone, although for my taste it was very dry. But everything was tasty.

My conclusion is that I should visit more coffee shops with my friends and try new flavors.

Aunque no tomo café, amo conocer cafeterías. Me encanta cuando son super lindas y acogedoras. Y no es que no me guste para nada el sabor del café, sino que me acostumbré a no poder tomarlo por cuestiones de salud. Una taza de café es igual a sentirme mal del estómago, incluso sentir que estoy a punto de desmayarme. El café solo lo uso para preparar postres.

Pero volviendo al tema de las cafeterías... Me encantan. Me parecen el punto perfecto para conversar y ponerte al dia con amigos, incluso para estar a solas, simplemente disfrutando de tu propia compañía mientras comes y tomas algo rico.

Es por eso que hace poco invité a dos amigas bastante queridas a quienes no veía desde hace unos meses a Páramo Café, una de las sucursales ubicada en Altamira, Caracas.

Esta sucursal me gusta mucho porque tiene una terraza techada muy genial en dónde puedes estar al aire libre y yo amo eso. Y si no tienes ganas de estar afuera o tienes calor, siempre puedes quedarte adentro en donde hay mesitas con unos muebles muy cómodos y aire acondicionado.

Aquí ofrecen todo tipo de café, sea frío o caliente. Postres, e infinidad de sandwiches. Así que si llegas a ir con hambre, puedes matarla allí mismo 😂

En esta ocasión, luego de pensarlo mucho (soy indecisa), me decidí por un muffin de chocolate que costó $2,50 y un choco frappe con extra de chantilly por $4,50. El choco frappé es "mi vieja confiable" porque amo el chocolate y ese frappé es muy rico, sabe a Toddy.

El muffin era enorme y sabía muy bien, tenía un sabor similar al panettone de chocolate, aunque para mi gusto estaba muy seco. Pero estuvo rico todo.

Mi conclusión es que debo visitar más cafeterías con mis amigos y probar nuevos sabores.
