Quiero extender mi saludo a las personas que hacen vida en la comunidad de #Movies&TvShows quienes comparten el gusto por el cine y las buenas series. El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi opinión sobre una película que sinceramente pienso no es muy popular, pero que nos deja una gran enseñanza, se trata de El Lugar de la Esperanza.

Today I want to share with you my opinion about a movie that I sincerely think is not very popular, but that leaves us a great teaching, it is The Place of Hope.

Esta interesante película fue estrenada en el año 2021 es una producción de género drama comedia del Reino Unido. Actualmente se encuentra disponible en la plataforma de streaming Netflix.
Esta película relata la historia de Sandra una joven mujer madre de dos niñas y esposa de un hombre bastante abusivo. Un día en el que su esposo llega a casa y la golpea, ella le dice a una de sus hijas una especie de contraseña, dicha contraseña era un manera de buscar ayuda en el momento que se encontrará en peligro.

Pues Sandra logró salir de esa casa y a su esposo le colocaron una orden de alejamiento con un régimen de visitas; sin embargo, Sandra se encontraba pasando muchos inconvenientes económicos, vivía en un hotel y aunque recibía ayuda por parte del estado y pensión por parte del papá de las niñas no era suficiente.
La verdad es que el lugar en el que vivían no era el más acorde y ella trabaja como una esclava en dos lugares para poder darle a sus hijas lo que ellas necesitaban. Un día ella se dispuso a ver algunos vídeos de como construir una casa propia y cuánto costaría, ella realizando los respectivos cálculos pudo constatar que si él estado le prestaba el dinero, sería más rentable para el estado y más seguro para las niñas, pero lamentablemente la ayuda fue negada.
Sandra managed to get out of that house and her husband was placed under a restraining order with a visitation regime; however, Sandra was going through many economic inconveniences, she lived in a hotel and although she received help from the state and alimony from the girls' father, it was not enough.
The truth is that the place where they lived was not the most suitable and she worked as a slave in two places to be able to give her daughters what they needed. One day, she watched some videos on how to build a house of her own and how much it would cost. She calculated that if the state would lend her the money, it would be more profitable for the state and safer for the girls, but unfortunately the help was denied.

No obstante, ella no se dió por vencida, continúo luchando hasta encontrar un préstamo, pero su presupuesto era muy limitado y necesitaba obreros que prácticamente no cobrarán nada, es allí donde radica lo bonito de esta historia.
Muchas personas se reúnen para ayudar a Sandra a construir su casa, su sueño, el lugar seguro para sus hijas, pero no todo es color de rosa, el padre de las niñas le interpone una demanda para quitarle la custodia de las niñas y así presionarla ella a regresar con él. Por un momento, todo se puso a favor de él, ya que ella le mintió al estado acerca de la construcción de la casa y eso contaba como delito, pero ella, en el profundo amor de madre logró tocar el corazón de la juez y esta le negó la custodia al padre.

Finalmente, esta película nos llena de enseñanzas; existen muchas mujeres atrapadas en relaciones tóxicas por necesidad y miedo. A veces, es muy fácil emitir opiniones acerca de ellas, pero la verdad es que no es fácil tomar la decisión de separarse de un hombre abusivo y más cuando hay niños de por medio.
Lamentablemente, la sociedad tampoco ayuda, porque en la mayoría de los casos estás mujeres son señaladas e incluso son cuestionadas haciéndoles creer que es su culpa, que ellas lo permiten, cuando en realidad, también es un problema del hombre. Sin embargo, la historia de Sandra debe ser tomada como ejemplo, que siempre se puede salir adelante con trabajo y dedicación, que no importa dejar atrás la estabilidad económica si con ello encontramos paz y tranquilidad. Otro aspecto importante de resaltar es que cuando se está en relaciones abusivas, eso afecta de gran manera a los niños y esto también se evidencia en esta película.
Finally, this film teaches us a lot of lessons; there are many women trapped in toxic relationships out of necessity and fear. Sometimes, it is very easy to issue opinions about them, but the truth is that it is not easy to make the decision to separate from an abusive man and even more so when there are children involved.
Unfortunately, society does not help either, because in most cases these women are singled out and even questioned, making them believe that it is their fault, that they allow it, when in reality, it is also a man's problem. However, Sandra's story should be taken as an example, that it is always possible to get ahead with hard work and dedication, that it does not matter to leave behind economic stability if with it we find peace and tranquility. Another important aspect to highlight is that when you are in abusive relationships, it greatly affects the children and this is also evident in this film.
