Después de haber estado perdida de esta plataforma durante una semana, hoy nuevamente quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia muy gratificante, y es que tuve el privilegio de ser jurado en los Proyectos Socio productivos realizados por los estudiantes de 5to año del Liceo “San Francisco Javier”.
After having been lost from this platform for a week, today again I want to share with you a very gratifying experience, and that is that I had the privilege of being a judge in the Socio-productive Projects carried out by the students of the 5th year of the “San Francisco Javier” High School.

Días atrás recibí una invitación por parte de la dónde tutora la Prof. Hylenne Mendoza para que la apoyara en la evaluación de los trabajos del último año de los estudiantes de esta casa de estudio, quienes realizaron una expo empresarial dentro de las instalaciones del liceo.
A few days ago I received an invitation from my tutor, Prof. Hylenne Mendoza, to assist her in the evaluation of the final year work of the students of this school, who held a business expo at the school's facilities.
Resulta que las condiciones económicas de nuestro país ha llevado a qué las personas se conviertan en emprendedores o pequeños empresarios; pero lamentablemente, también se logra evidenciar que muchos de dichos emprendimientos no perduran en el tiempo y en muchas de las ocasiones se debe a la falta de preparación académica que las personas tienen. Es por ello, que el propósito de estos proyectos es brindarle a los estudiantes las herramientas necesarias para emprender sus propios negocios, algunas de las cosas aprendidas fueron llevar contabilidad, sacar costos y ganancias, porcentajes de ganancia, estudio de factibilidad, marketing, entre otras.
It turns out that the economic conditions of our country have led people to become entrepreneurs or small businessmen; but unfortunately, it is also evident that many of these ventures do not last over time and in many cases it is due to the lack of academic preparation that people have. That is why the purpose of these projects is to provide students with the necessary tools to start their own businesses, some of the things learned were accounting, costing and profit, profit percentages, feasibility studies, marketing, among others.
Muchos de ellos aprendieron a elaborar sus productos, así como otros ofrecerán servicios. El primer grupo participante estaba conformado por dos chicos quienes le colocaron a su empresa “Bocaditos Gourmet” ellos desean emprender en el área de los sandwiches, por los momentos sólo ofrecen tres tipos, pero su deseo es expandirse y ofrecer más variedad, ellos resaltan que su fuerte y la diferencia con respecto a los competidores es la suculenta salsa de ajo.
Many of them learned how to elaborate their products, and others will offer services. The first group of participants consisted of two boys who named their company “Bocaditos Gourmet”, they want to start in the sandwich area, at the moment they only offer three types, but their desire is to expand and offer more variety, they emphasize that their strong point and the difference with respect to the competitors is the succulent garlic sauce.
El equipo siguiente, ofrecen una alternativa más fitness pues su mini empresa se llama “Fresh Fruit” y consta de batidos con frutas naturales, tizanas y cesta de frutas. Ellos realizaron estudios de mercado y notaron que actualmente las personas están cuidando más su alimentación e incluso realizan ejercicio físico o practican algún deporte; su deseo a futuro es incorporar más variedad de batidos, combinación de frutas y merengadas con leche de almendras.
The next team offers a more fitness alternative, as their mini-company is called “Fresh Fruit” and consists of smoothies with natural fruits, tizanas and fruit baskets. They conducted market research and noticed that people are currently taking more care of their diet and even do physical exercise or practice some sport; their desire for the future is to incorporate more variety of smoothies, combination of fruits and meringues with almond milk.
El tercer equipo, es más una comercializadora la cual tiene por nombre “Alimentos el Guarito” ellos desean ofrecer alimentos como mantequilla, suero, crema de leche, mortadela y queso de cabra, ya que en entrevistas a una muestra representativa notaron que en el estado Lara las personas consumen mucho lácteos, sus clientes son más como bodegas, abastos, ventas de comida cocida como areperas.
The third team is a marketing company called “Alimentos el Guarito”, they want to offer foods such as butter, whey, milk cream, mortadella and goat cheese, since in interviews with a representative sample they noticed that in the state of Lara people consume a lot of dairy products, their customers are more like bodegas, grocery stores, cooked food sales such as areperas (a kind of bakery).
El siguiente grupo, construyó una empresa llamada “Café Doña Aleja” ellos en su estudio poblacional determinaron que 9 de cada 10 personas toman café, por lo que se fueron a una localidad llamada Río Claro la cual es una zona cafetalera, traen el café en granos, hacen el proceso de moler y empacar para luego vender. Cabe destacar que ellos tienen una promoción, si compran un sobre de café te regalan unas deliciosas galletas para que disfrutes de tu café.
The next group, built a company called “Café Doña Aleja” they in their population study determined that 9 out of 10 people drink coffee, so they went to a town called Rio Claro which is a coffee growing area, they bring the coffee beans, make the process of grinding and packaging and then sell. It is worth mentioning that they have a promotion, if you buy a sachet of coffee they give you some delicious cookies so you can enjoy your coffee.
El siguiente grupo es una empresa de turismo, llamada “Love Travel” estás innovadoras chicas quieren llevar a sus clientes a viajar por los bellos paisajes de Venezuela, como primer viaje están ofreciendo un full day para cayo sal con desayuno y almuerzo incluido por 30$. Es importante acotar que su visión es potenciar el turismo venezolano y llevar a sus clientes a lugares poco explorados.
The next group is a tourism company, called “Love Travel” these innovative girls want to take their clients to travel through the beautiful landscapes of Venezuela, as a first trip they are offering a full day to cayo sal with breakfast and lunch included for 30$. It is important to note that their vision is to promote Venezuelan tourism and take their clients to places that are little explored.
Y por último está una chica, cuyo deseo es abrir una posada en las lomas de Cubiro. Ella aún no tiene nada concreto, pero está trabajando en cómo encontrar inversionistas que la apoyen en la primera fase de su empresa.
And finally there is a girl, whose desire is to open an inn in the hills of Cubiro. She has nothing concrete yet, but is working on how to find investors to support her in the first phase of her enterprise.
Finalmente debo acotar que todos los proyectos están excelentes, fue un privilegio poder calificar a estos chicos que pronto se convertirán en los nuevos bachilleres de la república. Espero de corazón que todos continúen con sus emprendimientos y que se conviertan en grandes empresarios que ayuden a la economía del país y puedan generar empleos.
Finally I must point out that all the projects are excellent, it was a privilege to be able to qualify these kids who will soon become the new high school graduates of the republic. I sincerely hope that all of them continue with their endeavors and that they become great entrepreneurs that help the country's economy and generate jobs.
