Stumbled Upon a Great Sunset

This year I have been quite lazy when it comes to chasing epic sunsets. I can probably count these occasions on my hands. However, I drove home a couple of days ago and noticed some really cool clouds in the sky. My eyes are trained enough to know when there is a possibility of a great colorful sunset.
Having seen these clouds, I decided that I needed to drive to the beach to try to capture it. It's autumn and days are getting shorter fast here and I had about 15 minutes till sunset. I grabbed my camera really fast from home and drove to the nearby beach.
Most of the time sunsets look the most colorful about 4 to 6 minutes after the sun goes below the horizon. I arrived just when the sun went away, just in time for the best part. Yes, it was pretty epic.
I don't know really how to describe these cloud formations but this was the reason I decided to go there.
The following shots are taken with a telephoto lens to get a bit closer to the clouds.
That was definitely among the top 3 of greatest sunsets this year. I hope I can capture some more colorful action this year. This also includes northern lights.
