Before my post let’s first do some #NinetiesFriday housekeeping!

I’m hoping this builds into something similar to ThreeTuneTuesday where we have many people involved! But I gotta start so here we go! I will give 3 basic income units to a winning random post every week who uses the #NinetiesFriday tag. Also @thebighigg has jumped in to match for 6 total weekly prize! If anyone else wants to sponsor with any amount of units let me know or just send if you don’t wanna commit to weekly 👍.

  • Going forward the same person can’t win multiple weeks in a row*

    Some ideas are music, movies, television, sports, or really anything Nineties related. I assume movie or tv or music topic reviews or talk will be most common, but you could also talk a sports memory or something else. Think the Pop Culture of the times, but it would be great to hear about little known and interesting bands or entertainment items. Don’t forget to use tag #NinetiesFriday

Ok now last weeks random winner!

This Nineties Friday I’m talking about the Blink 182 1999 release Enema Of The State 💿. The follow up to there 1997 album Dude Ranch which included the hit song “Dammit”

~~~
There 1999 album came in strong and immediately got not just rock radio play but immediately the first single was all over pop radio and MTV. The second single was even bigger. They went from alternative radio success to mega hit op stars frankly. I’ll dig into the journey below ⬇️
  • 1997
  • 1999
  • From Sloppy To Polished
  • Mainstream Mega Success
  • The Next Records
 This week it’s a video from Whang! on YouTube! He discusses a lost Seinfeld Episode about Eline buying a gun and other storylines. It was a season two episode. Apparently the cast hated it so it was never filmed. It was the only episode like this with a full script that they scrapped.
Have a great weekend everyone 🙌
Cheers! 🍻
