Good morning to my beautiful and wonderful people's in the community...... I'm so happy to be here this morning, hope your day is going well? And am wishing you a very best weekend ahead....stay safe and stay bless..... This long Ankara beaded dress your see here, my sister is actually going for a traditional marriage today, so she choose that she need a long dress and she needed the beading both front and back and I say no if it's front and back man this bead is very expensive so if we are doing both front and back to take up to 10,000 just to get the pack of the bead so she decided to do only in front and I was able to convince her to do it only in front, finally she accepted.....
Without much wasting of your time I want to go to the details of the dress making
My Ankara fabric
1yard of black material
Gold stone beads
Black thread
Needle for the beading
Scissors ✂️
Tailor chalk
Measurements tape
At this point I went ahead in folding my fabric into two an add the needed measurements
I was done marking then I cut it out
Then I carry the front to place on the backside and repeated the same thing I now cut it out
And then I was done with the cutting of the front and the back of the dress, I went ahead in joining the both shoulders, still in the process I went ahead in itaching the black to the front side I attach it to the neck turn...
At this point I went ahead using my office pin to secure the Black in front the v shape there is where my beats will round...
I went ahead in top stitching the black to the material and I was done with it I went straight to my iron and iron it make sure it's neat and that was the end of it going to the beading part
So I started the process of my beading step by step and keep on pushing pushing pushing and this was the outcome
Going to an explanation of the dress was not that difficult, the path that was taken time was actually the beading part...... If I want to calculate the hour I use in making the dress I don't think it was up to 1 hour but the part that took time was the beading part that took me a whole day and at the end of it I succeeded and everything went well so I was so happy she came to size it and it was perfect 😊
Again I want to say a big thanks my bosses in the house.. because no matter how tight, how busy your schedule you will always stop by to read and to comment and say one or two words of advice and encouragement ..... thank you all
