The Shargeek Storm2 Slim Power Bank Model STM2E-1 is a reasonably modern power bank with some potential but some significant drawbacks. The device boasts a clear plastic case with a sleek design and a bright, easy-to-read display though it lacks in accuracy. Offering two USB ports with various protocols supporting quick charge modes and a USB C port with Power Delivery output, it provides flexibility in charging different devices. However, the device's soaring temperatures pose a concern. The power bank was found to repeatedly overheat during the testing process, even at moderate amounts of power in or out.
 

When considering its weight and size, the power bank competes on the upper end for energy and power density. The device charges at about 40W in a 20-degree Celsius environment and meets half of its marketing claims for charging times for devices. Nonetheless, its high price point of around $200 USD makes it a less attractive option, especially considering its thermal management issues.
