Cute little bunnies in Vienna

In Vienna I know a nice spot where I can find these cute wild living bunnies in the urban grassland. These bunnies built their living holes in the grassland near the Danube river and since they live in the city they are not really shy and it is easier to get close to them for taking some pictures. But petting them is not possible, if you get too close they flee. From time to time when I visit vienna, I don't only visit the ground squirrels and the Hamsters but also these bunnies and some birds on several spots in Vienna.

There is a great diversity of animals living in Vienna and I am always amazed how many different species I can find there. Here in Linz a much smaller City were I live it is a lot more difficult to find wild living animals like these. Of course there are also some but it is a lot more difficult to find them. And Hamsters and ground squirrels cannot be found in Linz.

This summer day we visited Vienna we met a friend (Patrick) there and we also went eating together in a restaurant at the evening. I really like these occasions when we do this. And meeting friends with the same interests is also always nice. Eating, talking and spending some time together. Usually we visit these bunnies during the luch time and in the evening when the hamsters start to come out of their holes we change spots and take some pictures of hamsters somewhere else. The ground squirrels in the morning are usually our first target.
