Hello everyone, special thanks to @ocd and @planetauto for conducting this contest. Am from idukki, India where most of the places offers thrilling offroad experiences.so from my childhood onwards i have a special intimacy towards offroad vehicles.

When it comes to offroading, Mercedes-Benz G-Class is the boss. Its been more than 40years and still it rules the muddy and tricky terrains. So it has always been my dream vehicle, from the moment i came to knew about it.

 
Mercedes-Benz G-Class,a legend in the world of motoring that’s only gotten better with time. It was first built as a light weight offroader.

 

The development on the first model continued, subjecting it to the toughest conditions that the mother earth could offer. In the late 90's many of these suv's were used for military application.
This is why many believe that the G-wagen was built for military purpose. But it wasn't the primary consideration when it was built.

 

After 39 years mercedes benz launched their brand new G-class with the most modern technologies. Its purpose built not only for offroading but also for luxury too. They added a rich feel to the interior and cabin . Even with the new developements, It still has its boxy appearance. Many people are aganist its boxy look, but for me that look is just perfect for its purpose.

 

It has undergone big transformation throughout the years but still managed to stay in its authentic look.

For a person likes me who loves offroading,the improved off road handling characteristic G mode is really an amazing thing. This offroad mode adapts the steering as well as accelerator characteristics, avoids unnecessary gear shifts and ensures optimum control.so it will be so easy through muddy roads than before.
 

 

This suv is the most suited for the indian terrain. But AMG G63 is the only version of the G class sold in india.

Many may think that the price is ridiculous. Yes it is and we can buy better suvs in this price range or lesser than it. But the G-class is a moving legend in the motor section. And i do know that it may take many years for me to even get close to its price range, but one day i will surely own this beast and will drive through the toughest terrains of Kerala. Untill then this bad boy will always remain as my dream vehicle.
