Choosing a role model for myself

Someone who is a mentor or a role model is someone we admire, people who actually have the qualities we need in a person. It could be their lifestyle, personality, their ambitions, level of success and characteristics. It depends what you want in a role model and trust me there is nothing you want to become in life that someone has not become no height of success you desire that you won't find someone that has gotten there.

When you see people who actually have a role model in their life you will notice that their lives are different because they tend to behave like those people they admire as their models.
 

There are a lot of things one needs to consider before choosing someone as your role model and there is nothing wrong in choosing a role model there problem is will you be able to do what they did to get to that height you are seeing them and admiring them. This is one of the problems with us in this generation. We have big dreams but yet we are not ready to go through the process of getting to the destination of our dreams. Most of the people we admire today have a story to tell which in one way or the other has contributed to the position of their success we see today.
 

First, who should we choose as a role model? Choosing a role model to the person must have what it takes to guide and influence you positively to goals in life. It is not possible to have a role model who is the opposite of our goals in life. If you have any to be a successful business man/ woman, your role model in that aspect should be a business expert. Not a musician. Growing up as a child we do have a lot of role model just because of their fascinating character somewhere cartoon hahaha🤣🤣.
 
  My Mom: I believe majority of people sees their mother as a role model in their lives and so do I . Speaking of my mom she has been my motivation since from childhood, o admire her so much to the point when a child I normally pray and refer to God as God of my mom that was the height of believe and admiration I have for mom though growing up i have come to know God for myself. My mom has laid a solid foundation of life for me. She has trained me to be the discipline and God fearing lady I am today. I'm so proud of you mom. I wish to raise my children the way she did.
 

Spiritual leader: So people call my Godfather his name is Uyobong Mbaba. I'm one person who loves God and is doing things for me. I need someone to teach and guide me in the ways of God. Pastor Uyobong has been a source of blessings to my life. His words have literally shaped my life, he taught me discipline and consistency. Me being here on hive is through and all my success here has been a product of his mentoring and support.

One of the reasons I had to choose him as my role model is because he is a good listener, he is someone I can open up to without being ashamed and I have carefully observed him and see the good character in him that I wish to have. This is my reason for choosing him.
 

 
My pastor has been my business coach. He has handled business that has survived for years and he is also doing well here in hive. I know most people choose celebrities has their role model well for me I don't think so because this people I don't have the opportunity to see or even talk to them personally, so how do I get to know them from internet of course no because life in internet is most time fake. So I chose my role model in people I can see talk and relate with.
