My Introduction to HIVE with a live performance of my song "Perdido"

Hello musicians and creators from across the globe!
My name is Esteban M. and I'm very excited to have found HIVE thanks to my friends at @recording-box.
Years ago, I began my musical project as a soloist, a seed planted in the creative mind of the man who now shares his music with the world. The story is woven through simple monthlies, a deliberate cadence that reveals a work gestated with patience and dedication. Each piece is a window tmy o personal expression, and is born in the intimate space of my bedroom, where the vibrations of inspiration mingle with the tangible reality of 2021-2022.
I've decided to release these creations without a predefined order. I believe artistic freedom manifests itself in spontaneity, defying pre-established conventions. This approach (Which may be considered unconventional by some) is perhaps a reflection of my musical philosophy.
I've immersed myself in a melting pot of influences ranging from Howlin' Wolf, Nick Drake and Adele to Nirvana, Alt-J and Six Organs of Admittance.
Trying to delineate the diversity of influences is like catching the wind: elusive and shifting. There are records that act as catalysts for creative action, while others provoke deep reflection, urging one not to emulate what has been heard. The amalgam of these stimuli translates into a unique musical expression, difficult to pigeonhole and, therefore, even more captivating.
My solo project coexists in the landscape of my creations where two bands, A Crone's Orchard and The Diatoms, occupy a prominent place. They are projects that embody my dedication, where musicality merges with commitment. However, this solo journey is a different territory, a solo exploration of sounds and emotions that finds its raison d'être in creative freedom.
I consider myself part of an emerging and growing music scene in Guatemala City, a music scene that ten years ago did not exist in the country. The contribution of musical projects has a great importance in the timeline of the music scene which is growing more and more and more people are interested in this fusion of melodies and reverberations coming from creativity.
If you'd like to check out some of my music on Spotify, please do so. I really appreciate the support.
A while back, I did a live performance with my band A Crone's Orchard. It was just called Orchard back then:
We also have some songs up on Spotify:
Today I'd like to perform for you again. This time solo.
Please enjoy my original track "Perdido".
I look forward to meeting all of you!
