These Places May Not Be Hot But They Are Not Boring
My place is still a developing area, and sometimes I feel like shouting when I want to go out to have fun there are only limited options. Nevertheless, During Christmas, almost everywhere is happening, even the most boring places that I know used to be hot. Starting from 24th December till 26th every year, a Disc Jockey is hired to keep giving us hits until these days are over.
If I have a visitor and I am to take the person around during this festivity the first place I would be taking the person is my community gathering spot, we call it (Under Mango Tree) so much used to happen there on Christmas.
My community often organizes a variety of competitions, my favorite is eating competitions and talent shows. Last year my cousin's brother got a prize for emerging winner of the eating competition, the sight was wow. I am sure my visitor would be pleased to see how people are rushing to finish a large plate of meal within a stipulated period of time just to emerge winners.
From there we would go to Marshal, one of the happening places down here, a lot of people visit there to get ice cream. There is no entertainment but seeing how occupied the place gets with people coming to buy Ice cream, snapping and flaunting their dresses is fun. We will get some ice cream snap some pictures and enjoy the environment for a while then leave.
We would be heading straight to Kini, it's a relaxation center, it's open up to everyone on Christmas, and there's so much fun. Unfortunately, there is nothing like Daddy Santa but their place is very nice, they have a very nice background for snapping pictures, sports, and relaxation. The only thing is you just need to have some cash to enjoy the place more.
That place used to be filled with people who wanted to have fun, I love watching those playing basketball ball, the way they designed their court is just so beautiful. I don't know if my visitor loves sport, and basketball to be precise if the person does, I am lucky, he or she would so much enjoy that place.
They also have a very nice swimming pool. I am not a swimmer but I love their pool. if my visitor loves swimming, well, it's Christmas for him or her, they can enjoy the pool. One thing I don't like is the crowd, so maybe we can leave the swimming for 27th December, but if the person is such that loves crowd then let's swim.
On that same Christmas day, we would have to visit my favorite spot, JK Plams. My visitor can't afford to miss the site, it's more like a garden but there's a bar and a chilling spot. That place is well decorated, there is light all over the palm trees there, it's most beautiful at night, people call it small Dubai. It's a place everyone down here loves to be at so much and I can't afford to talk about their coconut yogurt gosh.
On 28th December, we have a church program, the general overseer of the family worship experience in the person of Apostle Johnathan Shekwanya will be coming to minister himself. It's a program I attend every year. There was no year I attended it and left without being blessed. I am taking my visitor there, if we have everything and we forget God, then we didn't do well at all. I can rest assured that the person won't regret going there with me.
After all this, we would return home. The next place I am taking the person is the city roundabout on 31st December, that is one of the happening days down here. Different people meet there, you can barely differentiate that from daytime. A lot of crazy things happen in that place.
Some youths do bike racing, some fireworks, you would see a lot of hilarious old-school outfits and more. However, the place is not often safe because of how crowded it is. I am sure my visitor will enjoy this very place more than all the previous ones. You will hear music popping from different places and see tires burning at every junction turn until the following day.
