To The Little Light 01/02/2025

Life can be really unpredictable sometimes. Like an auto-switch, ready to turn on or off at any time. You can never tell what's going to happen next. One minute you think you have it all the next? It's all gone like it never existed. In trying times, it's pretty normal to feel like everything is over, like life doesn't have lost it's meaning. Why go on?

I watched people really close to me lose their child in a twinkle of an eye. They were as shocked as I am and keep asking what meaning life still has for them. These were people everyone gathered to celebrate a joyful news of twin birth, now everyone is gathered again, this time for something so sad and unexpected. That's how fickle life is.

Moments like that shake us up and make us doubt our strengths and our ability to even take the next breath. Sometimes it feels like it'd be better off if we just end it all. The things is,our minds can be stronger than what we think it is. If we're determined not to let anxieties and challenges to eat us up, definitely we're going to come off victorious. Whatever happens, good or bad, know that we only have ourselves in the end. We might lose everything and bounce back on our feet but it'd be tough to lose yourself and bounce back. It's more or less we smile through the pain and hold onto the little light this life has in store for us.
