My Encounter With A Scammer

Advancement in technology as regards the internet faces the challenge of scammers and their daily tricks in getting their victims. However some of them go mysterious means as well to get their victim. The victim on the other hand accepts whatever deal they intended to achieve not until he or she gets scammed and you now ask if it was real or a dream from nap.

However, in this article, I will narrate my experience with proofs that will be shown below.
I have a face book friend whose name I wouldn’t mention here, he sent me a direct message to get involved in a money scheme.

I told him I am not interested but he promised to make the payment himself while I received the profit and refund back the capital. I thought I got nothing to loose. I gave him my details and phone number.

Not too long, An individual called claiming he is a particular managing director of one scheme which is this scheme I was referred to by a friend.
He told me to check my phone he is going to send details right away inform of digits which I should recall for him immediately specifying that he got too many clients to attend to.
I told him he should send the text but I have to cut the call and check the message privately then get to call him back.
Guess what?I saw the verification code face book sent to me which I never applied for. Its God amazing wisdom I used to get rid of him.

My suggestion are
Everyone is in search of a better means to life by committing so many atrocities on the internet. However we can stay safe from falling victim by not responding or disclosing your information to third party without due confirmation.

Discord is a world on its own with different countries known as servers. The only disadvantage is that you cant in all countries at same time but with discord you can navigate through several communities.

All communities supports a particular project e.g leofinance project, eos,e.t.c
Each servers on discord contains channel where moderators can pass across information.
Scammers do go a long to clone an admin or moderator’s account with the same picture and username but the difference is in the discord tag.
If any admin chats you privately, you can check the discord tag on a real and active mode and compare with who’s communicating with you.

As advancement in tech continues, it is incumbent of making cyber security active to curb the activities of scammers.
