Hive Music Festival Week 118- Round 1—MAGNOLIA acoustic cover

Hello everyone, I genuinely hope that you all are doing wonderfully well.
It is Hive Music Festival week 118, round 1.
For this round, I am going to be performing a blues standard that I have come to love so much in recent times—A song titled Magnolia.
Magnolia is a blues song that was first released by JJ Cale in 1971. Eric Clapton and John Mayer recorded a cover version in 2014 which I have come to absolutely love! It was my most listened to song on Spotify last year.

In one word, I would describe this song as SILKY. There is simply a smoothness to it, like a calm river flowing undisturbed. The calm and smoothness of the instrumentals provide a soft bed for the message of the lyrics to lie on, like a bed made out of clouds.
The song basically talks about a man longing for his woman, missing her at the slightest trigger, and eagerly hoping to return to her loving arms. This theme of love is one that I am sure we can all relate to.
I hope you enjoy my humble acoustic recording of this song.

Here are the lyrics of Magnolia.
Whippoorwill's singing
Soft summer breeze
Makes me think of my babe
I left down in New Orleans
I left down in New Orleans
Magnolia, you sweet thing
You're driving me mad
Got to get back to you, babe
You're the best I ever had
You're the best I ever had
You whisper "Good morning"
So gently in my ear
I'm coming home to you, babe
I'll soon be there
I'll soon be there
Magnolia, you sweet thing
You're driving me mad
I got to get back to you, babe
You're the best I ever had
You're the best I ever had
You're the best I ever had
You're the best I ever had
