Hello all Movie & TV Shows friends, today I want to share with you this feeling of frustration that has left me watching Matrix Resurrections, as a fan of Keanu Reeves and his performances, although I recognize that he has had several blunders in his career, I never imagined that he could bury his mythical and immortal role as Neo with such a bad sequel. Yes I know the film has its defenders, but even from my own fascination with Reeves I can't defend the indefensible.

It is a movie where the parliaments between the characters are slow, stilted and with endless explanations that for people like me and all those who have seen again and again Matrix have no reason to be, the change of characters like Smith and Morpheus seemed to me a mistake, of course I must accept that one of the few and rescuable performances is that of Morpheus. The performance of our main characters leaves much to be desired, a tired, exhausted and extremely tormented by the Matrix Neo who no longer understands what is happening around him and looking in the deja vu that he has lost in his own mind was nonsense, because, we are used to seeing a Neo who resists, fights and is able to control himself and control the matrix.

Trinitty's character from an action heroine to a housewife who makes motorcycles, please, who in their right mind could even imagine such a crazy twist in the story, she is our character actress is Neo's explosive connection, what generates his vital energy. If it is understood that from the beginning of the movie we are filled with ideas about a matrix within the matrix that has now regenerated and creates a space where it keeps Neo prisoner in a reality that is no longer his. For me this is nothing more than a mockery of all the previous movies, I think for many of those who love the Matrix story remembering that this is a cult movie, without a doubt it must have been as it was for me a real disappointment that lasted 2 hours and 17 minutes.

And I am surely leaving aside other elements such as the terrible special effects, the lack of attention to detail, mise-en-scene and music. The new characters and that perfect world, or at least trying to be perfect, created by Niobi, is just a messed up way of telling us what we all already know about virtual reality and artificial intelligence. I really expected much more, this movie was a hard blow for me, I really feel ripped off and excuse me that is my appreciation maybe you will have a very different one and you can tell me your point of view in the comments.
