The importance of bitcoin as a long-term haven of value.

After long months of crypto winter, bitcoin and altcoins are beginning to show signs of recovery, perhaps due to the proximity of the 2024 halving, which makes me reflect on this decentralized asset.

It's been just two years since I started using cryptocurrencies and from the first moment I was fascinated by how they work and the advantages they offer. Although they are not risk-free, I consider blockchain technology a revolution in the digital and economic world.

I think we should consider BTC for what it really is: a limited and secure financial asset that provides freedom of exchange of value to users.

Like every great technological advance and investment opportunity of the past (bitcoin is both), few visionaries saw the opportunities until it was too late.

Many users do not really know how it works and that is the basis of errors when using the blockchain. The simple fact of keeping a seed phrase safe (outside the digital world) and not interacting with malicious sites is forgotten by many who end up losing their assets.

Being something relatively new, we must learn to use it safely and responsibly.

With the development of artificial intelligence and the use of digital systems by the international banking system, it is becoming more common every day that a bank that we "trust" disappears with all our savings or that a simple change of power in a country ends up impoverishing us. to its citizens who do not decide their financial future; Well, at least those who have trusted BTC before the inflationary collapses of several countries such as Venezuela and African nations, managed to keep their savings out of the reach of corrupt governments and thieves.

Currently we see how economies stay afloat after maneuvers by the corporations that economically control large nations; But the bubble may burst one day, I have experienced it in my own country with the increase in inflation to unthinkable levels.
I do not rule out that one day bitcoin will rescue us from dying economies.
 
Actually, many chase the price and that's fine as long as they know what they're doing, but we must consider bitcoin as what it will one day be: a haven of value similar to gold and silver, impossible to track and control.

La importancia de bitcoin como refugio de valor a largo plazo.

Luego de largos meses de invierno cripto, bitcoin y las altcoins comienzan a mostrar signos de recuperación esto tal vez debido a la proximidad del halving de 2024 lo que me hace reflexionar sobre este activo descentralizado.

Hace a penas dos años que he comenzado a utilizar las criptomonedas y desde el primer momento me fascino su funcionamiento y las ventajas que ofrece, aunque no están libres de riesgo considero la tecnologia blockchain una revolución en el mundo digital y económico.

Creo que debemos considerar a BTC como lo que realmente es : un activo financiero limitado y seguro que brinda libertad de intercambio de valor a los usuarios.

Como todo gran avance tecnológico y oportunidad de inversion del pasado (bitcoin es ambas cosas) pocos visionarios vieron las oportunidades hasta que ya fue tarde.

Muchos usuarios no conocen realmente como funciona y en ese aspecto se encuentra la base de los errores a la hora de usar la blockchain. El simple hecho de mantener segura una frase semilla(fuera del mundo digital) y no interactuar con sitios maliciosos se les olvida a muchos que acaban perdiendo sus activos.

Al ser algo relativamente nuevo debemos aprender a utilizarlo de forma segura y responsable.

Con el desarrollo de la inteligencia artificial y el uso de sistemas digitales por el sistema bancario internacional cada dia es mas frecuente que un banco en el que "confiamos " desaparezca con todos nuestros ahorros o que un simple cambio de poder en un pais termine por empobrecer a sus ciudadanos que no deciden su futuro financiero; bueno por lo menos aquellos que han confiado en BTC antes de los colapsos inflacionarios de varios paises como venezuela y naciones africanas, lograron mantener sus ahorros fuera del alcance de gobiernos corruptos y ladrones.

Actualmente vemos como las economías se mantienen a flote tras maniobras de las corporaciones que controlan economicamente a las grandes naciones ; pero la burbuja puede explotar algun dia , lo he vivido en mi propio pais con el aumento de la inflación a niveles impensables .
No descarto que un dia bitcoin nos rescate de economías moribundas.
 
Realmente muchos persiguen el precio y esta bien siempre y cuando sepan lo que hacen pero debemos considerar a bitcoin como lo que sera un dia: un refugio de valor similar al oro y la plata, imposible de rastrear y controlar.
