Numerous internal and external influences can have a negative impact on the aging process and I would like to discuss some external influences in this post and the aging process is a complex topic and is always associated with more causes and the individual way of life has a huge influence on it and often certain external processes can additionally reinforce the internal ones. In one of my last contributions, I have already discussed in more detail about the aging process through internal processes where the psyche also plays an important role and if you want to learn more about it, I can recommend visiting this post from me here where I have discussed it in more detail. When it comes to external aging influences, skin aging plays an important role which is influenced by various environmental factors and one of the biggest factors is UV light and in this context it is the sun that people are exposed during visits outside and also the environmental pollution can result in an accelerated aging of the skin. Among the most common poisons from outside are pollutants such as exhaust gases, ozone or small particles such as fine dust and also the lack of moisture can cause the skin to age faster because water is essential for the renewal of the skin cells. The aging of the skin can be associated with the decrease of certain proteins such as collagen, which is also considered one of the most important components of humans and also the decrease in production of hyaluronic acid ensures that the skin changes more and more and loses stability. Some skin cells are also strongly linked to the telomeres and the more often the cells divide, the shorter the telomeres become and when they are no longer available, the cell has a big problem, which in turn leads to its dying and in addition, the telomeres are also important to protect human DNA and are of great importance when it comes to the anti-aging area. The protein elastin also decreases more and more over time and has the consequence that the skin appearance changes and certain hormones also play an important role in the aging process and in addition to biological factors and genetics, there are also certain other factors that are added to the external aging influences such as certain substances like nicotine or alcohol and in general the diet also has a important influence on this and the lifestyle, sporting behavior or stress also contributes a part to this.
