Sharing a painting I've never shown of my Animals in chairs

I made this painting at the beginning of the year

from a study I had made for my Animals in chairs series.

The original piece was done in my style I use for that

which is very illustrative with inked lines and solid colour and watercolour. I'd share it again to show you the difference, but I don't want some BOT to see it was on here last year and some how think I am 'reposting'...

Here I simply did my painterly style

I love so well.

In the original piece I had made

again not posting it here (which really is frustrating) there is another dog and you can see the base of the chair. As the Chair is as much the subject of those paintings of Animals in Chairs is were the animals.

I have an obsession with Chairs and animals

and that series was begun as a sort of therapy to try and NOT buy any more physical chairs, as it was getting to be a bit of a habit with me. One can , I suppose, only have so many actual chairs.

I have been SO busy with making video

that I have not had time to post a proper Art only post. Not that shooting, editing, etc is NOT art, but you know what I mean. And I am determined to stick to a set schedule for my videos

Adding the extra work of videography has helped in a way

as I find if I give myself MORE to do then I make the TIME to fit it all in and thus get a bit more done. True I may do many things poorly rather than one thing well, but it is working for me, so there we go...OFF and away!
