Recently, Marvel Comics initiated a series entitled "Clobberin' Time," with the #1 issue released a few months back. It is well known that "clobberin' time" is the famous battle cry of the Thing, the muscle of the Fantastic Four. Strangely enough, the saying was also used by WWE's CM Punk back in the day as well. Steve Skroce not only handled this innovative story, but he also contributed the distinctive artwork necessary for this version of story-time. Bryan Valenza assisted with the colors, while Dean White teamed up with Skroce for the depiction of the two angry dudes on the cover.

Tuvah Tu narrated this story that took place during the Age of Marvels. Reed Richards literally had his head in the clouds while the action took place below. Bruce Banner, who is currently working with the Fantastic Four, and Ben Grimm get transported to an undisclosed time and place by an intruder of their work space.

The Hulk and Thing find themselves in a battle to save the Nub Nubs, Grimm's pet name for this group of people, from Demon Hordes that are looking to wipe them out. The fact that they are outnumbered doesn't appear to concern Grimm or Banner. Their only concern is saving this newly-befriended height-challenged species. The Hulk and the Thing usually don't get to team up, therefore it was a treat to see them in the same issue. However, I don't believe we saw the last of the intruder.
