She-Hulk is one of the many Marvel titles getting a reboot, as I just picked up issue #2, even though it is really issue #165. Dr. Bruce Banner, aka the Incredible Hulk, is actually responsible for Jennifer Walters', aka She-Hulk, life and current condition. Before the She-Hulk existed, one would have probably met Walters in the courtroom representing the plaintiff or defense. However, it was when she was shot that a transfusion from cousin Bruce obviously transferred some gamma rays into her bloodstream. When she woke, she possessed amazing strength, tough green skin and hair that would make any model or 80's rocker jealous.

This issue's story has Walters trying out civilian life again. She is back at the law firm with Mallory Book and is living in her old apartment owned by Janet Van Dyne, aka the Wasp. In addition, an old friend known as the Jack Of Hearts, who was presumed dead appeared at her old digs in a very odd condition. While Tony Stark was trying to help Jonathan "Jack" Hart, Jack doesn't want to seek Tony out again. Unusually thirsty and hungry, Walters feeds him and lets him sleep whatever it is he has off.

The story is seeming to lead in the direction that someone will be coming after him, and possibly Walters also. This is too bad since Walters seems to want to take a break from her previous experience as an Avenger. There appears to be many ways for Rainbow Rowell to go with this tale of intrigue. Kudos to Rogê Antônio (artist) and Rico Renzi (colors) for bringing this beautiful green hero to life. Nonetheless, she is no pushover and if you don't believe me, check out her muscles.
