While the debut issue of "Clobberin' Time" teamed the Thing up with the Hulk, the second issue has Wolverine join in battle with the Thing. Skroce and Valenza return to continue the story that stands on its own but is somehow connected. The connection lies mainly in the memory of Tuvah Tu, who once again serves as narrator. Rachelle Rosenberg joined Steve Skroce in conceptualizing this issue's crazy cover.

It appears that Ben Grimm is a guest at a university on Krakoa to discuss relations between superhumans and mutants. After all, Krakoa is the home of the X-Men. Grimm sometimes answers questions with no filter, which makes him have to backtrack on some of his statements. This is especially true because Grimm's circumstances aren't the same as the mutants who were born into a particular situation.

In the first issue, Banner and Grimm are invaded by a time-traveling thief. This time, he returns to attack Krakoa because he wants what is being used at this planet's brewery. Grimm got his own taste of this Nectar before the invasion. It appears that our invader's name is Ogdu. Logan gets beat up pretty badly, but it appears that he will survive. Grimm vows to take this threat down, but it doesn't look like it's going to be easy. It is definitely going to be exciting to see which hero the Thing teams up with to handle this situation each month!
