Super Electric Breaker Pokemon TCG Haul

Hi there. In this post, I showcase a haul of Pokemon's Super Electric Breaker Japanese TCG set. Like with the Paradise Dragona set the sibling and I wanted to get this instead of Surging Sparks. Surging Sparks booster box prices were out of control. Instead of the normal 150 CAD per box, Surging Sparks went up to something like 260 CAD before taxes.

The sibling wanted to try to get one Pikachu ex so he gave money to me to buy one box of Super Electric Breaker. The price was around 88 CAD plus tax. This price is higher than Paradise Dragona's 65 CAD price. Both Super Electric Breaker and Paradise Dragona cards are in the Surging Spark english expansion set.

Left Side Pulls

We started with the left side packs. Here were the pulls. A pull is a holgraphic card or better. In Japanese booster packs you may not get a rare card or better in a pack. In an English booster pack you can get a holographic card or better in each pack.

After completing both sides of the booster box, here are the pulls. A pull is a holgraphic card or better.

• Magneton Illustration Rare (Japanese version of Magneton from Surging Sparks Elite Trainer Box)

We did not get a Special Illustration Rare. I thought that there would be one in a Japanese booster box. I guess not. This was our second Japanese booster box haul.

In a Japanese booster box you do get 1 ACE SPEC card per box. An English booster box contains 2 ACE SPEC cards per box but an English booster box is usually double the price of a Japanese booster box.

There is no guarantee of a Special Illustration Rare (SIR) card in a Japanese booster box. An English booster box contains 1 SIR holo card.

Booster box prices of Super Electric Breaker are higher than Paradise Dragona. It is mainly because of the Pikachu ex cards for collectors and for players.
