Fidough is a Psychic Basic 60 HP Pokemon with two retreat cost. The two attacks are not too scary. In the first attack Good Smell you can search your deck for a Basic Pokemon and put it onto your Bench. Any attack that allows for Benching more Basic Pokemon is good in the early game.

I do like the art on this card. Well done.

Dachsbun ex is a Stage 1 Pokemon ex card that evolves from Fidough. It has 250 HP and is of the Psychic type. 250 HP for a Stage 1 Pokemon is kind of low so it is vulnerable to some big Basic Pokemon like Radiant Charizard, Iron Valiant with 2 or 3 Iron Crown ex on the Bench and Metal attackers.

The Ability of Full Meal Time activates upon evolution. You may heal all damage from each of your Evolution Pokemon at the cost of discarding all Energy from each Pokemon healed this way. This ability reminds me a bit of the Supporter card Cheryl from the E regulation block.

Dachsbun ex's attack of Wonder Shine costs two Colourless energy. It does 130 damage with the additional Confusion effect on the opponent's Active Pokemon. Confusion is quite annoying as there is 50 percent chance from the coin flip of the attack working as normal if heads. If tails a Confused Pokemon does not attack the opponent but it hits itself for 30 damage. Retreating removes confusion.

I think Dachsbun ex is not a scary attacker. The confusion effect to its attack is annoying to deal with so it can go into a Control style deck. Because its attack is two Colourless energy, Dachsbun ex does not necessarily have to be in Psychic theme deck. Double Turbo Energy goes well with its attack.

Lacey Supporter Card

Lacey from the Pokemon video game (Downloadable Content) is an Elite Four member from the Burberry Academy. She specializes in Fairy Pokemon.

The Lacey Supporter card here is kind of interesting. The main effect is that your hand is shuffled into your deck. Then you draw 4 cards. If your opponent has 3 of fewer Prize cards remaining you can draw cards until you have 8 in your hand instead.

The first effect of this Supporter card where you draw until 4 cards in hands makes Lacey worse than Youngster. Youngster sees no play in the competitive scene as it is weaker than Iono and weaker in draw power compared to Professor's Research.

Lacey's conditional extra effect is interesting. If the opponent has 3 or less Prize cards left then you can draw until 8 cards in hand after shuffling the hand in the deck before drawing cards. This makes Lacey a good late game card for drawing cards.

I don't think every deck will run Lacey. Maybe some decks would run one copy of it. I can see a deck like Gholdengo ex use two or more copies of Lacey as Gholdengo ex's attack is reliant on having Basic Energy in hand for its Make It Rain attack. Stage 2 Evolution decks could use Lacey as the powerful draw effect makes it easier to get a Rare Candy and a Stage 2 Pokemon. Let's see how this Supporter card plays out upon release.

Joltik

This Joltik is a very interesting Basic Pokemon. The obvious weakness is that it is 30 HP but its effect on the attack is very powerful. For one colourless energy you can use the attack Battery Charge. Search your deck for up to 2 Basic Grass Energy and 2 Basic Lightning Energy and attach them to your Pokemon in any way you like. This is a very powerful and maybe broken energy acceleration effect. Because Joltik and its evolution Galvantula are Bug and Electric it makes for the two Energy types to be Grass and Electric. Miraidon from Temporal Forces has a powerful Energy Acceleration attack as well as Arceus V & Arceus VSTAR but this Joltik is insane.

Joltik Illustration Rare

There is also an illustration rare version of Joltik. It looks quite vibrant.

Galvantula ex is a Stage 1 Tera Pokemon of the Lightning type. It has 260 HP with one retreat cost and Fighting weakness. The first attack of Charged Web requires one Lightning energy and one Colourless Energy. It has a base damage of 110 and it can do another 110 damage if the opponent's Active Pokemon is a Pokemon ex or Pokemon V. This first attack is quite good as the attack cost is fairly low with its damage output.

The second attack of Fulgurite requires one Grass Energy, one Lightning Energy and one Fighting Energy. It does 180 damage with the extra effect of having the opponent not being able to play any Item cards from their hand the next turn. The drawback is that all Energy is discarded from Galvantula ex.

With Galvantula ex I think the first attack will be mostly used. This is a very dangerous attacker in my opinion. The Joltik that comes along with this can set up the Energy for one Galvantula ex and another attacker. I expect this to see play. Will it be really good? I don't know.

Great Tree ACE SPEC Stadium

Here is another ACE SPEC Stadium card. This one is called Great Tree (according to the Pokebeach translation). The effect of Great Tree is kind of like Rare Candy. With this card you can evolve from a Basic Pokemon into a Stage 1 Pokemon and then evolve that Stage 1 Pokemon into a Stage 2 Pokemon. You can double evolve once per turn. With Rare Candy you go from Basic Pokemon right to Stage 2 while skipping the Stage 1 evolution and not needing the Stage 1 Pokemon.

A good thing with this Great Tree Stadium is that you can use the effect upon playing it. You get at least one use out of it. When it comes to Stadium cards in general your opponent can use the effect too. If the opponent does have Stage 1 and Stage 2 Pokemon then Great Tree works well for them. If the opponent does not play Stage 2 Pokemon then Great Tree is not compatible for them.

I do wonder about the technical rulings if someone tries to evolve to Stage 1 but does not have a compatible Stage 2. Does the evolution not count at all?

As Great Tree is a Stadium card it can easily be removed by someone playing a different Stadium or by the item card Lost Vaccuum.
